- Back again in the London Overground Class 378 Capitalstar EMU on Train Sim 2015, doing a unique/rare morning/evening start/end route between Battersea Park & Surrey Quays (normally continuing to Highbury & Islington, *not in the game yet). Quite a nice train in one of my favourite EMU's in Train Simulator 2015. Enjoy

MrGare451 I totally agree, it was probably a more financial decision that they didn't, they sound similar and renting out a 378/376 would have been costly I assume
Cheers for featuring this I thought you would its a quiet unique service. I recently went to Battersea Park Station and the strange thing is, is that they extended Platform 3 to accommodate 10/12 car trains and Platform 2 where this service goes from is no longer connected to London Victoria

Not gonna lie, I really wanted AP to make a class 376/378 sound pack as these electrostar DO sound partially different to the 375/377, partly because the 376 and 378 can only do 75mph, and the 376 and 378 don't have plug door sound. I love the AP sound pack regardless, but it would have been so much better if it was the real thing
just brought this today, i got given £40 so i put it all on my steam, it was a close decision between this or the class 455 the rest im spending on csgo getting cases and keys for a video im really happy with this train

Make sure to get the 455, it's required for a lot of workshop scenarios.

My favourite is the 376, I like how the motor sound is different when it accelerates.
Yeah but the rest of the 376 is rubbish. No toilets on hour long plus journeys, a metal bit on the seat directly where you want to put your head. Dusty, uncomfortable seating, really load, throbbing air conditioning. Such bad trains overall.

Felix Train Where are your SE trains in, they sound pretty shit
South East London. The 465 is a decent train, it is a shame the most populous 465 (the 465 /0 or /1) is not in the game. Despite being the same class as the 465/2 and /9, they are quite different, especially since they were overhauled and refurbished (sort of) with new motors so they sound quite a lot different, no longer the traditional Networker sounds. The other is the 376 - explained above.

Are sick I will get that on my bit I already got train simulator 2015 but the only thing is that make trains on the game but I don't have the train you had.
We have a Lunar Eclipse in September btw.
Crazy Adam 8 lunars are alright but solars are much cooler

battersea power station isnt being knocked down. They are using it for apartments,shops etc

The Class 378's build doesn't allow for over 5 car. Maybe two 3 car units can be coupled?
well it could technically there are electric motors under each carriage
I read somewhere there is a maximum length of 5 car.
Each set has 5 cars, multiple sets can be chained together.
It's one full route Clapham Junction to Surrey Quays if Wikipedia has right
trains don't tend to terminate at surrey quays maybe a rare/unique service but generally not, trains from clapham junction tend to go to highbury and islinton or dalston junction usually

tomtoon2014 you can make 3, 4 and 5 car formations for scenarios with this DLC

He can't as TS2015 doesn't have that feature as DTG didn't implement into the game
