The Last of Us - Gustavo Santaolalla (Ronroco Tutorial)

This tutorial was learned by watching youtube videos of live performances and by ear. If you think i have made any mistakes please correct me!! But i tried to make the most accurate way of playing this song as possible.
This song is played in the tuning, BB EE BB GG DD
otherwise know as the Argentina or Santaolalla tuning.
If your ronroco is from Argentina you will not have to worry about changing the tuning, but if it's not please make sure you have the correct strings on your instrument in order to get to this tuning.

Hi! Just getting into ronroco so I have a couple newbie questions without even owning one - firstly, when you list the tuning in the description is it flipped from the way guitar tuning is listed? That's what it seems like to me but I'm just curious. Also, how much should I expect to pay for a decent ronroco? Beautiful playing and great tutorial!

Hi there, when purchasing a ronroco, it's common to find them tuned this way, especially if crafted by luthier Pablo Richter. The ronroco tuning is essentially a dropped D tuning similar to a guitar, where you lower the Bass E string to D. Prices typically start around $1,800, but Richter also offers more budget-friendly models. Personally, I own the top-tier model, but I originally bought an older one for around $900. You can opt to skip the case, but considering it's shipped from Argentina, I wouldn't recommend it.
