Good analysis video! There some things that I wanna point about this theory.
+ On the Final World, the Nameless Star mentioned on her dialogue that Yozora - "He’s been changed beyond recognition-his heart replaced with another’s. But, were he to regain his old self again, he would be distressed by my absence." Thus indicating that as Yozora has said on his dialogue, this isn't his real appearence, but rather an avatar form from the Verum Rex game. This could be an reference to Yozora's "original" form of Noctis from FFXIII Versus.
+ It's probably that Nameless Star is the "Sora" is the name of the same girl from the Verum Rex trailer. They both have brown hair and blue eyes. Explaining why Yozora acted suspicious with (KH) Sora about why was using that name.
+ Sora the girl is a basically Stella. Since the Nameless Star also mentioned that they took away her name and everything about her, meaning about Stella being cut from the original FFXIII Versus.
Wow, I totally forgot that line, but that adds a lot! So hmm... It seems like they body swapped then right? Sounds like it to me at least 🤔 I was thinking maybe her name was Sora too but I didn’t have any basis for it, but I like the hair and eye color thing
In some of the old vs. 13 trailers theres a girl that noctis seems like he's about to battle with. Whether that's Stella or someone else I cant remember, but I'm sure that's the person who Yozora believes Sora to be.

Okay about the crystallization... The only three times we have seen someone become a crystal are 1. When Xion was killed by Roxas in KH 348/2 days, when Kairi was killed by Master Xehanort in KH3, and now when Sora is defeated by Yozora in Re:mind.
So technically the crystallization process has been in the series since 2009 when Days released. Note how Xion slowly crystallizes and after she closes her eyes and dies, she becomes a full crystal that banishes into light and leaves a single seashell behind, just like how Serah leaves a crystallized tear and, how Kairi leaves pieces of her heart. That said, Both Xion and Kairi died and became crystals. So in this ending of the Yozora fight, either Sora actually dies, or he was absorbed by Yozora just like how Xion was absorbed by Sora.
Could it be that Nomura the absolute madman was thinking of mixing both The Fábula Nova series with kingdom hearts all the way back in 2009, ten years ago?!
@@Incepted Riku Replica was also made by Vexen but he did not crystallized in CoM and he exploded into light in KH3. Only Xion crystallized, and I think it had to do with the fact Xion became her own person instead of being a Roxas copy.
@@koto2211 he didn't get crystalized in kh3 cause he had no body in kh3, he lost it in the realm of darkness and came back with riku. He didn't crystalize in CoM because he didn't die in CoM.
I believe what we're seeing in the cutscene between Sora and Yozora is from the players perspective. Meaning, we don't actually see how Sora and Yozora actually look to each other, which is why Yozora said he doesn't really look like that, and why he wonders why Sora is using that name. I think they actually see each other in a completely different form than what we are seeing in the cutscene.

Axel Xenith how would Sora recognize Yozora as himself then? If he recognized him from Verum Rex? You think Sora saw Yozora as someone else entirely different, but still knew who he was?
Blade Ponds I believe the entire fight took place inside Yozora’s dreams. Which is why it cuts to him sleeping and then saying he’s been having weird thoughts. If anything, we would be seeing the characters from Yozora’s pov in my opinion

So, in FFXV, when Noctis disappeared for a long time before reuniting with Ignis and the other, he ended up in the KH series and met someone in that series and somehow his appearance and name was changed. Ahahaha!

Zemo M.A. doubt it. If it’s part of the kingdom hearts series, then it won’t be very dark or have blood. But I can see it being pretty “mature” compared to kingdom hearts. Like a lot of people dying or some serious topics happening.

@@KnightBX I think a game can have a dark tone without having a lot of "mature" content. I think it has a lot to do with the writing. And as far as violence, characters die in Kingdom Hearts without blood and the emotional impact is still there.

If I may make a Critical Connection. Something no one brings up is how Sarah's theme in Xiii is called 'The Promose', Yet Roxas' theme is called 'The Other Promise'. It's almost as if Xiii, KH2 and so on where meant to be connected by Roxas and Sarah in some form.

Somnus is also the name of Ardyn's brother, who was the Founder King, when - FFXV Ardyn Spoilers - Ardyn was actually the Chosen King. Somnus kills Ardyn's Fiancee and then imprisons him on Angelgaad for 2000 years. So the False King and True King stuff is a relevant theme.

The dlc cutscene for Yozora in the theater is called false king 👌
Somnus song actually is referring to God Bhunivelze, the God of Light who sleeps in Fabula Nove Crystallis lore. The logo is actually Goddess of Death, Goddess Etro, sleeping with Noctis from Versus XIII, who probably grants him the power to crystal sleep and enter dreams. In the lore, Goddess Etro is God Bhunivelze's enemy.
Crystal sleep so far existed in Fabula Nova Crystallis lore, and can only be granted by Gods and Goddesses after a completed focus. So, FFXV should not be in the same lore as FFXIII.
The true king and false king is probably referring to Nomura's vision of Noctis in Versus and Tabata's version of Noctis in FFXV.
@@horrorpill Ok, even if Somnus (the main theme song of FFXV) is about Bhunivelze, wouldn't that lend more evidence to the idea that FFXV is actually part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis universe? That would be kind of weird if they made a song about Bhunivelze, made it the main theme song of FFXV and then didn't include FFXV in the same universe as Bhunivelze.
I also get the feeling that you haven't played the ending of FFXV at least, because the logo that I think you're talking about is literally created in the end cutscene with Lunafreya and Noctis.
Well, uhm. Longpost theory. Hope y'all don't mind.
The slogan of "reclaim your heart" is super important here.
The Nameless Star already mentioned that Yozora's heart was replcaed with another's, and that is the reason why he does not remember her, at least not clearly enough to desperately search for her. He didn't react, when Sora mentioned the "girl" either. So, something must've happened to Yozora that warranted the fact that his heart was replaced, yet he's partially the same, if he remembers his own appearance. That is, unless the only thing that was changed was his heart, and his body, while his memories were not.
A heart shapes the body, which would explain the reason why Yozora's appearance is different from the intial one. His heart was replaced, therefore he looks different.
Anoter thing about this slogan is that hearts can be stolen, but not necessarily by Heartless. The Nameless Star had her heart taken away, by somebody. She wasn't surprised that Sora mentioned Heartless, nor she was asking about the Nobodies. It's as if she has the knowledge of what the Heartless, Nobodies & Somebodies are. That'd mean she must also know about the Keyblades.
I'm not surprised, since she holds the star as her symbol, even on her necklace. There is a sign of Darklings existing inside Tokyo, and the proof of this is the box art of KH3. There's a gargoyle Darkling holding a star just under Sora. If Darklings exist inside the reality of Yozora & the Nameless Star & if The Nameless Star knows about the Keyblades, it'd mean that Keyblade wielders exist, or existed inside Yozora's reality. But wait....what about the Master? He's a scholar, that's for sure, but at the same time, it's like he's a programmer too. He introduce the concept of data to KHX, where he made a realm for the Dandelions to settle after the finale of the Great Keyblade War. He possesed a computer room inside Daybreak Town Clock Tower and had insight into every World projected by the Book of Prophecies based on the camera's showing footage. It's almost like.....he knew everything. Then, if Verum Rex is a game could it be that the Master could be that the Master is one of the developers of Verum Rex?
I per se, am eager to believe it, but I don't think that'd make Sora's reality false. Rather, I'd be eager to believe that the Master purposefully crossed between Yozora & Sora's realities multiples times, and used the knowledge he obtained by travelling the giant World before the divide to push his plan further. It's like he made sure to created Verum Rex in order for Yozora & Sora to meet. He must've know that there will be a World, where Verum Rex will appear as fiction, that both of the realities are in some way connected to each other. Maybe, while visiting Yozora's reality, he has seen the scenario of Sora's journey through a game, or an animation, or whatever. Just like Sora would technically be able to play Verum Rex inside Toy Box and learn more about Yozora's future.
Maybe that's why the World before the divide was so huge that no one could traverse it. Time & space seems to be distorted there, to the point of several locations being more advanced than the others. All of the worlds being one before the Great Keyblade War, and the ability to travel to each and one of them. Yet, Hercules portrays Ancient Greece, while there also exist modern worlds like Toy Story. Or worlds that are antithesis to a singular cities, Sanfransokyo being an example.
Then...what about Yozora being a Commander? And what's his connection to Verum Rex?
Yozora's true name is, Yozora. That's why he said "why did you recognize me as Yozora?" -- indicating that there must be a gap between his current apperance & his real name. That further sheds a light on the fact that he may be known under a different name with his current apperance, and his abilities use data-based projections to alter the reality as you've said.
All of this combined is pushing me closer to believe that Verum Rex is real, and it is a game as portrayed inside the Toy Box. Not just any game though. Inside of FFXV trailer, we see that Noctis' is looking towards the direction of the citadel, which is surrounded by Nibelheim ships(corret me, if I'm wrong). What if, Yozora is actually looking at the same scenery? What if, his world is on the verge of war? That'd explain why he is referred to as Commander. Verum Rex itself may be a military project, that uses data in order to alter the reality and potentially collect resources & power from other realities in-order to gain military strength. Then, why Yozora was convinced that the Final World is not real? I think, that here is where the reality and fantasy blends so to speak.
Let's assume that Verum Rex is able to project everything, as long as you have the capabilities to do so. It'd possess a lot of restrictions to not make just about everyone gain immense power, or be lost somewhere? Don't you think? If so, then they'd use various discernments to reject and not believe what just appears to the users' of Verum Rex. They'd label it as a projection, nothing more than something that doesn't exist. Contrary to that, the Final World Sora & Yozora met in was undoubtly real. Otherwise, Sora's Station of Awakening wouldn't have been shown there. To me, the fact that Sora's Station of Awakening was present there, was a sign that he is being slowly stripped of his power and getting ready to be thrown out of his own reality. Sora, at this point, must've lost the Power of Waking and placed inside a lobby worl(The Final World) before losing his own powers completely & getting thrown into Tokyo/Shibuya. Yozora being tasked with "saving him" is esentially stopping any progression of Sora's loss of powers, and potentially another memory loss. Preserving him for the person that asked to "save Sora."
This is getting crazier, but I think that Yozora is not the only person that is struggling with memory loss and his heart being replaced. Sora, at first hand, appears to be a normal person. He lived his life, and never had any memory problems up until the ending of Chain of Memories. Even so, some of the the memories, like the ones of Data Sora eventually found its way to him.
But what about memories prior to his life? Why are there drawings of the future events inside the cave located in Destiny Island? Why was Sora questioning, if his world is real(the opening of KH1) before he even obtained a Keyblade and learned about the outside worlds? I think there's more to Sora, and to Riku that we think. The Master himself may've known Sora's & Riku's past incarnations, or the whole thing is a time loop. Would I believe that the Master is Sora? Nah, but he's certainly someone that knows Sora, Riku & Yozora, and even has a strong connections to them.
Additonally, because I kind of wandered off course to explain the idea behind all of this. Yozora's participation and achievements in Verum Rex could've granted him the title of a Commander in the country he is working for. Whatever is the reason of why he is participating in Verum Rex project, the side effect of it is the fact that his heart was stolen and replaced by someone. The fact that Verum Rex is ultimately something created for the sake of stealing hearts. And if you tie it to the fact that the Master of Masters was/is:
-> On the side of light, fighting from the start of the Keyblade War
->Had no ties to darknesss except the fact that he fought against it
-> Is not human, but looks like one. The darkness that took forms has taken the same appearance as the Master and his companions, and Luxu assumed that they must've been human(because he knows how the Master looks like), to which Master replied that "he never said that." It's indirectly implying that the Master could've been created the same way as the darkness that borrowerd their forms, that he is a spawn of light, without a heart(since he is not human) & unable to wield darkness. Would explain why he wears the black coat and is "too much of a scaredy cat" to take it off. That's from his convo with Xehanort as well. The darkness may as well have a hugely negative effect of someone that is fully comprised of light. Like immediately corrupting them.
-> Was tired of the endless war between the light & darkness, implying that he could not abandon the conflict by himself. It's possible that he had no will of his own, despite having sentience. That he was forced to fight as long as the light desired it. Maybe, having a heart is like being granted with freedom?
-> Got pissed off at Xehanort mentioning that the weak ones desirous of power should be left to darkness(look at his hands getting clenched during that fragment of their conversation). Potentially hinting at the fact that the Master's companions were tired of being forced to fight against darkness & went for a shortcut of obtaining power in-order to end the War, but instead fell to darkness.
It all becomes clear. It's like some Black Clover type of scenario, where Licht made it possible for the extinct elves to be reincarnated as humans & ensued rebellion against humans that betrayed them. The Master could've very well wanted to nurture hearts & mass-produce Keyblade wielders to then commence a plan that'd replace the hearts of those Keyblade wielders with the essence of his fallen companions, esentially reviving them and granting them bodies with hearts. This way, they'd be able to end the conflict of light and darkness & truly destroy the World(as the Master jokingly mentioned at the segment, where he told Xehanort "I can tell you I dream of the world peace!!! While I'm actually planning to destroy it").

Here's my theory:
Yozora is an AI from the datascape, traveling from world to world, and donning the guise of whatever figure fits in best in whatever world Yozora visits. After encountering Sora, Yozora was told to "save him" by turning him to crystal. My theory is that the person who told Yozora to crystallize Sora is actually the next main villain of the new saga, with this new fake Yozora being a minor antagonist.
If he is Noctis, what if this is canon, post-FFXV. And the reason Yozora (Noctis) is in the same place as Sora is because they both gave their lives using their unique powers to save people? And Sora and Yozora then play a role in saving each other and restoring each other.
After following FFV13 from the beginning all the way to FF15 and seeing this in KH3 I am excited all over again! Awesome vid keep it up!

Btw another thing worth mentioning is that Destati, one of the main leitmotifs of KH means Awaken, further supporting VsXIII originally being the antithesis to KH, since its main leitmotif is Somnus.

From what I can see, Yozora shares more similarities with Sora, Riku & Kairi than any of them do with each other.
- He shares Kairi's ability to travel to The Final World via the realm of sleep
- His appearance is very much like Riku's; from the hair, the outfit, the brooding attitude, etc.
- His fighting style and slight cockiness in his ability is reminiscent of Sora at his most confident; there is also something funny to me that Sora is basically wearing Yozora's outfit in the Toy Box world but has the same hair and eye color as Yozora's girl.
When bringing up Ardyn and "Falsus Rex", I remembered that Ardyn was meant to be the True King in FFXV, but his brother Somnus betrayed him for the throne and imprisoned him, taking his place as king. He was chosen by Bahamut to be the scapegoat of the star scourge; to be seen as the one true evil and to ultimately be slain by the descendant of Somnus, Noctis. It makes perfect sense that his flashes are Ardyn's red; Ardyn was to be the true king not what would eventually be Noctis, much like Yozora is meant to be the true version of Noctis, the true king.
I believe that Yozora is not his true name and "Sora" may not be the true name of the person he was referring to in the final episode. I believe they are nicknames for each other. Their names and appearances were lost and stripped from each other from what it seems, so I believe these nicknames for each other is how they keep each other in their memories.
I don't believe the battle in the Secret Episode between Sora & Yozora actually happened. Secret boss encounters are very usually non-cannon as they are never ever referenced in follow-up titles. I do think Yozora met Sora in his dreams but not in reality, but I think Sora had to live that dream twice; once where he loses, another where he wins. I think there may be mention of it the next time we see Yozora in a KH title, but he'll say that he had a version of the dream where he won, and another where he lost, but it was to the same boy who called himself Sora.
That secret boss is not canon in the story pointed out in your thoughts is on point! Same does like xemnas in khfm, lingering will in kh2fm, and young xehanort in kh bbs. But the latter will be added as the main story of the game.
@@farhanmohamad9027 I'm not sure whether or not I understood your comments correctly (secret boss encounters not being referenced in other titles) but didn't Xemnas mention to Roxas in 358/2 that he met Sora? As in he met Sora in KHFM? Or are you saying the encounters themselves are canon but not the actual fighting? Sorry maybe I'm just getting my wires crossed here.
@@MrKami96 actually I didn't notice Xemnas mentioned that to Roxas in 358/2 so I pulled the conclusion both the encounter and fight of optional bosses is nom canonical. But I do aware that Xemnas didnt give the detail about how he met Sora back in Hollow Bastion, so I still believe that secret boss appearances are meant to tease us about the upcoming game. Its my belief tho, just let Nomura do his magic.

Here's my idea regarding Yozora's confusion on names: In his world, he's in disguise. His real name is "Yozora" but his cover's name is "Sora." That's why he asks why Sora goes by Sora, and why Sora recognizes him as Yozora. The reason for him being undercover may be because he's being hunted by usurpers in his world, and had to go into hiding to protect his identity as the true king.

If we are running with the coding theme, which fits Yozora's data world, then I am guessing that storing Sora in a crystal within a data world is a reference to crystal data storage systems.
You know, when Yozora said "This isn't my real appearance" it kinda reminded me of Xion, since her face would looked different to those that see her. The different eye color could symbolized Verse 13 Noctis with his eyes being red and FFXV Noctis with his eyes being blue.
Oh that’s an interesting idea 🤔 In VsXIII and XV his eye color changes from blue to red depending on if he’s using his powers or not 😄
i know this is months later but dont forget that in ff15 ardyn was supposed to be the king at first but got betrayed by his brother and his brother's bloodline kept becoming king so therefore noctis isnt really the true king.
Yozora is Nomura's way of saying that FF15 never happened and we should just forget it ever happened.
If yozora is skilled with data (creating a datascape, using data as a weapon), it would make sense that he would use a video game character (made of data) as his avatar in person. That would help explain why he’s shocked sora sees him as yozora

The Luxord connection to the driver makes sense. Considering he was talking to Luxu/Xigbar at the beginning of Remind. With Xigbar stating “Who are you, Luxord?” From what I remember, we never found out and knew very little about Luxord before he became a nobody.
In the FFXV Dawn of The Future book, Noctis sleeps in crystal and goes "trials" in another worlds like versus XIII trailer for 10 years. I wonder, what do these trials look like?

Crystal stasis doesn't make you forget the victim under normal circumstances. The reason why aerith and riku mention that they remember sora is a reference to when sora lost his chain of memories in Com which caused everyone else to also lose their memories of him since their connections were broken. So they deduced its not the same case

His trials lead him to acquire Keyblade Master's powers, that's how he's able to manipulate the skyline and access Sora's Heart. Because HE IS SORA, who is a Keyblade master and has Master power to manipulate the sky.
I personally think that Yozora is a manifestation of a Future version of Sora and Riku that combined, and exist inside Riku's Dream's. Riku is Dreaming of a future version of Sora, who manifests as "Yozora", who is a Future version of Sora who saves himself by planting his own heart into his past version, to "Save Sora" from his own body from the future. No paradox there.
The "Subject X" is Yozora's Girlfriend, who is the "Nameless Star" who inherits Kairi's heart "FROM THE FUTURE". The future version of Kairi and Sora exist, but they don't remember who they are.
Yozora is Sora from the future. The "Nameless Star" is Kairi from the "Future" who is also Yozora/Sora from the future's Girl Friend.

Fabula Nova Crystallis sub series was heavily connected to the number 13 since all the games were supposed to be titled with a 13, for example type 0 = agitoXIII, and ff15 = versus XIII, and then we got actual XIII. At the end of the kh3, young eraqus comes up with a new game involving 13 lights and 7 darknesses. Could this be relevant somehow?
Something makes me think Yozora and Brain from Union X maybe connected in some way, the clothing, hair are obvious choices, but with Union X still chugging through their final act this could be an easy alternative for Nomura instead of infusing all of the FFXV characters into KH, Vermont Rex instead chewing more align with original VersusXIII plot lines/characters

Yozora recognizing Sora could be alluding to the fact that the M.o.M was in that world and maybe had some interaction with Yozora and maybe the M.o.M is an older-time traveling Sora. 🤷🏾♂️

It's pretty obvious that within yozora's lore, he is a sort of reincarnation or the heart of noctis in another form. Yozora claims that he himself doesn't look the way we are looking at him, further implying that he is directly noctis from versus/FF 15. As for how yozora knows sora, that's a whole other can of worms, but if we listen carefully, yozora also implies that there is another sora from another reality that doesn't look like the sora we know of. I expect another sora with a different look, just like noctis is yozora, to be introduced. Kingdom hearts began introducing time travel, parallel realities, multiple personalities, and i believe the aim was to simply make final fantasy versus 13 from within kingdom hearts.
P.s after kingdom hearts 3, kairi has slept for one whole year. Possibly hinting that these characters will continue to grow older in a similar way to how Naruto or dragon Ball z ages their characters. Yozora's realistic gun makes me think wether kingdom hearts ESRB rating will reach T for teens.
Something you forgot to mention:
During some of Yozora's attacks involving his sword, you can see what appears to be Sora's flowmotion "glass" effects shattering around him, except colored red like everything else Yozora does.
So, it seems wherever he's from, flowmotion is actually a thing. Which connects to a personal theory of mine; Quadratum, Yozora, all of it is taking place in the realm of sleep.
Quadratum itself being a sleeping world--not the *real* world, but an extremely convincing copy--and Yozora being the "sleeping avatar" of someone else (aka Noctis.)
Similar to how Sora and Riku changed appearance drastically upon entering the Sleeping Worlds initially. This is also where they learned about flowmotion, which appeared to only exist in the sleeping Traverse Town before Sora brought his knowledge of it with him into the waking world in KH3.
So, Yozora knows how to use flowmotion because he exists in a sleeping world, and Riku can only access Quadratum in his *dreams* because the world exists in the realm of sleep itself.
That, and the portal which Riku uses to enter Quadratum at the end of Melody of Memory appears identical to the portals seen in the sleeping worlds.
Granted, they did make a couple of other appearances outside the sleeping worlds in KH3, but the overwhelming majority of portals like them we've seen existed in the realm of sleep.
We don't know for sure (and may not for quite a long time indeed) but this strikes me as a fairly plausible theory.

This might sound like crack but what if no one escaped the data worlds from the union X, like what if the reason why they say “is any of this real?” Is because they’ve been living in the masters data scape so when people die or sleep they get taken to the actual Final world while the dark one was just one created through data. So with that being said. What if we take a new route in the series where everyone is released from the data worlds and we go to the real world where everything is kinda reconnected since we reconnected kingdom hearts and now we’re about to fulfill our path to return to reality and maybe the only time we’ve been in the real world was during the browser version of unchained x and the movie from 0.2...but hey, I’m just thinking too much lmaooo

This is an interesting take on the Noctis and Yozora comparison. I think the fact that the ideas and themes form Versus XIII now present themselves through Yozora is blatantly obvious.
I do like your take on the idea that the Yozora we fight, is actually not Yozora.
Also, I want to point out one thing. This doesn't go against anything in the video in particular, but it's just a small correction:
Lightning and Co. don't uncrystallize because the threat is eliminated. It's because the "threat is eliminated" that they crystallized in the first place. The Goddess Etro mourns their fate and uncrystallizes them with her power and this has huge ramifications later.

We either getting a KH4 with Yozora as the main. Or Yozora is the persona of Noctis after FFXV ended, moving in a dream-like dimension to which events of FFXV was a "trial" to ready Noctis for the real world. Yozora saying "But this isn't what I really look like." could imply getting a reboot to FF Versus XV (reference to Versus XIII), and Sora is the city's crystal that he "saved", speculations. The guy with the hat next to Yozora in Verum Rex trailer could be adult Sora LOL
Okay quick thing: I don't know like anything about Final Fantasy so
But I think Riku and Yozora are linked somehow? Maybe this possible datascape or whatever is set up by the Master of Masters or a character from Final Fantasy to use Sora for their personal gain. It could be that Yozora we see is a "corrupted" mix of Riku and Noctis or a real verison of Yozora. It would make since because I'd say a Sora without a riku is incomplete since he relies so much on his friends, and when he was brought to this world / datascape / alternate reality he fucked some shit up. Maybe this world / reality / etc is connected to Kairi in that she keeps it stable, or is allowing it to exist. Dream riku is able to enter the world to find the true sora, but can "feel" the corrupted riku/yozora watching him because in a sense, riku is connected to that yozora. The idea that this is a datascape or something of the sort would add to the fact that it's not real.
I dunno, these are just thoughts im having while watching this during class. If it doesn't make any sense feel free to correct inaccuracies, or build off the theory.
My favorite theory is that the next AAA KH will feature the protagonist adventuring into known FF worlds in lieu of Disney worlds (although I wouldn’t mind a Moana world haha)

I would've mentioned that tabata once said that noctis from ff15 and noctis from vs13 are 2 entirely different characters and entities.
In this video it just seems as if you were putting them both as one character but they're not.
Therefore,picking similarities between yozora and ff15 noctis doesnt make a whole lot of sense. Instead there are other similarities you can make between yozora and vs13 noctis.
Tho imo all the visual changes like the data-particles on yozora or his riku-like design,all that can be chalked off as "necessary design changes" so that the devs cant be blamed by the company for using other titles' characters/designs.

I believe Yozora and Sora are like Ventus and Venitus. They are one and the same. In FF15 Noctis main goal was to bring back the sky. In other words save Sora. But first he went to sleep for 7 years. So could all of Kingdom Hearts be the long dream that Noctis was having over those 7 years? Because there are way too many coincidences to not be.

I think the next game we get will be another dream drop title, in which we’d most likely play as Riku and Kairi. Would be really interesting if we were traversing Riku’s dreams of Yozora/Shibuya to search for traces of Sora.
Notice how Rex sees Sora as Yozora. I believe Yozora is the real Sora. Or a combination of Sora and Riku.
I wish they didnt take the music and characters from FFvsXIII and give it to FFXV. Luckily everything else was changed for the most part, so I hope Nomura can finally deliver the story and world he imagined. I'm so excited to see where this goes!

Some modders got hold of this game and found that yazora is a nobody, while moving the camera around they zoomed in on his left earring and found that it had the nobody markings on it.
Actually, if we look at the secret ending, we see Sora’s crown on one of the screens. Bio-Roxas then pointed out that if KH is a game in this universe, then it’s more likely that his chocobo chain and nobody/ Roxas piercing is more likely merchandise
A small note, when noctis falls back and turns into ash in ffxv he looks like sora floating in the game over screen

Right, It's honestly unclear if this is during the secret ending, before it, after it or in a different place altogether. The secret ending is seemed to be hinted at being Riku's dream, while this fight seems to take place in the Final World/ some kind of datascape.

The way Xion and Sora being crystallized was similar, how it kind of travelled along their body before they were enveloped. Kairi’s was much more sudden and at the moment of impact. So I don’t know... But yeah you ask an interesting question

Because he has earrings of the nobody symbol as well multiple lines of dialogue in the game seem to suggest that as well (like what the star in the final world said about how the person she is waiting for has been changed so much as well mentioning how they took her name, some how like if she were Stella from versus 13). So yeah..

Irrelevant to the topic but Noctis ffversus13 original eyes were red as was showen in the first trailer when he was fighting the soldiers, but they considered the story to be very dark so instead they gave him blue eyes that turns red.

What if Yozora's reality is actually the New World in Final Fantasy XIII?

What if Yozora really is just a video game in the KH world but he's a video game from Wreck it Ralph's world? Wreck it Ralph's world is a digital world that got connected to the digital version of Daybreak Town. If the Union Leaders escaped the digital version of Daybreak Town back into the real world, then couldn't a digital character also escape into the real world as well? What if the Verum Rex world also got connected either the same was a Ralph's world or through the arcade at Game Central Station? What if Luxord and Demyx come from the Verum Rex game and escaped along with the rest of the Union Leaders? Chirithy said Sora would vanish from this world. He didn't say he would go to another one. But maybe since Sora entered the Verum Rex game when he was in Toy Box, he was able to hold on to his existence by clinging to that digital world he once entered. Maybe the Master of Masters is from this world too. That would explain his modern speech compared to the more archaic speech of the other Foretellers. Maybe we will visit this version of Shibuya in the next UX update or in the Dark Road game.
Or what if they're actually still in a data world the entire time? Maybe they never escaped the data Daybreak Town. What if we've been in the data version since KH1? And that's what it means by, "Is any of this for real...?" Maybe Yozora asks the question because he's starting to realize he's in a video game for the first time. Maybe Sora had the same feeling but dismissed it over time and that's what Nomura meant when he said it's what made the series possible: the fact that they are both literally and in lore digital characters.
I was playing World Of Final Fantasy over Christmas break and there are characters similar to the Foretellers. Cloaked + an animal mask. I looked up the cast and crew of the game and saw Nomura worked on it as well. Maybe there’s something there?

Based on my play through, it isn’t clear to me whether our playable version of Sora is in the Final World or is Riku & Co. on the data scape. Since we move from a version of the Final World to what looks like Sora’s Heart to Shibuya, I’d say it’s more likely we’re still in the data realm (I think it unlikely Yozora has power of waking all this time and we wouldn’t k ow. Yen Sid seems pretty all knowing and never heard of this guy). Plus if we were in Final World for real, Stella or whatever) AND Kairi should be there. So I think we have more of a ReCoded situation here rather than a Dream Drop Distance scenario - but could be somewhere in between bc it seems Yozora has an ability to enter dreams/data dreams like Kairi or a Chirity. Maybe this makes sense since he comes from a video game world that his Kairi dream walker power is with data. Yozora could also know Sora just bc Sora got the high score in Toy Story lol who knows - Yozora just wanted to reclaim his spot in the leaderboard. Of any KH secret episode, I think I’m most excited for this one. We quickly learned of the Org 13 arc and Lingering Will / Terra Ventus Aqua Arc, but this one is just so far from anything known that it’s pretty intriguing stuff (and the fight is really cool like he just looks like a character we need to more about).

If locations in Verum Rex and FF15 are the same, and there are heartless in Verum Rex’s world, does that mean the the hidden door in FF15 is that world’s actual Key Hole? And does that also mean the events of KH are canon in FF15, but we’re told as a video game.
Listen to your companion’s voice lines when you find the door, it was supposed to just be a reference to KH, but knowing how Nomua likes to do things, that may have been foreshadowing for things to come.

i was thinking, maybe sora represents someone else in the world of yozora? maybe like a lost friend or the antagonist of his world? thats why "verum rex" would react the way he would. and thats why toy rex calls sora "yozora", which would completely different to verum
