@@brandon9621 unless, as you suggested, he starts and gets all banged up. He can very well get good enough with his mechanics to be on an NFL sideline as a backup for fifteen to twenty years. I hope, for his sake, you are right and he gets to play often and has success. He will get his payday, but have a shorter career.
still see people stating this O was different than what JF was given. It wasn't, JF just wouldn't run the plays as they were designed. He wanted to play hero ball, big plays or big runs instead of a methodic drive own the field. This is what the O was supposed to look like, which is why the OC got a job as an OC, and the qb got a job as a backup, and by all accounts in Pitt, is well behind Wilson. JF is struggling even w/a good HC/team. He will continue until he allows himself to play QB the way the NLF requires it instead of how he wants to play it. Bagent is going to have a long career, backup, bridge or starter though. Kid has the IQ to play in the NFL, which the QB position requires even more then athletic talent, which JF insists on relying on.
how many games will you start Caleb Williamson before Bagent starts again? one game? two games? three games? he looks like an NFL quarterback who just needs more game-time and experience to settle into the game. Obviously he has the talent. he looks as good as most starting QBs in these highlights. Seriously not sure Fields or Williamson are better. a lot of his running/ passing decisions and avoiding the sacks look like that of a starting, high-ranking QB. I truly believe everybody is just in denial about Bagent because he's a skinny white guy from a no name D2 school. Someone should just jump the gun and give him a year as a starting QB - Raiders, etc.
@hiyves9880if you look at the senior bowl Tyson showed a Plus arm. He registered a maximum velocity 3rd among 19 QBs since 2022. He was less than 1mph behind first. He was only beaten by joe Milton (canon 240lb qb, and Clayton tune). He beat everyone else. He also had good rpms with a peak rpm of 716 which was second in his QB year. For reference Justin Herbert (big hands canon arm) had a peak RPM of 748. The noodle arm comments are fiction. Also, when you consider Tyson has one of the fastest releases in the nfl, he actually has legit arm talent. The faster you release the ball, the faster you are generating the velocity and the faster the ball is getting to its target. One of the best arm strength measurements is velocity/release time. It’s what made Bret farve a legend. He had premium velocity but could generate it very quickly. Tyson has solid strength with fast release. He’s also mentally talented and a good athlete. He’s gonna be in the nfl for a while.
This dude has me excited for preseason 😂😂
He probably won't ever start but he has twenty years of high level backup play ahead of him. His ship has come on in!
20 years? Smoke another one

0:52 wtf was this 😂
lol 7-minute highlight video in 4 games
As an undrafted rookie....pretty amazing. Two wins. Don't pretend that was easy.
D2 too. Bro is solid.
Weak ass defense that chargers game
Noodle arm is still a better QB than Fields
LOL people were saying this unironically 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
His out reads were very quick. He is clear.

He has Hall of Fame written all over him - playing since age six. He will conquer Jordan Love repeatedly. 🐻⬇️🧆🏝️
