The sand flies at the rock pools are the most vicious I’ve ever seen anywhere. Within a few minutes I was covered and took me nearly two weeks to recover.
Gr8 Vid guys... I do remember seeing Erin in IGA... couldn't forget that blue hair... I get to enjoy these sunsets in Charleville everyday... and wow I didn't even know about the separator on the other side of the road from the rockpools... when we first came to Charleville 25 years ago that rockpool water was turquoise... You don't wanna know why it's brown... lol Safe traveling guys

Interesting video. The rock separator was used to get the small gravel to use in sealing the runway as the dirt strip was too dusty.
Good tip about the Gardena water meter, Still on the Bunnings website for $51.00 but it looks like it is no longer available (at least not around here) - Doh!

I went to our (what I thought was a big) Bunnings this morning and the water meter is only available on the shelf at BIG stores. I ordered one through the "special orders" counter- 7 day delivery. So if anyone reads this comment and is looking for one at a small or medium store they are called- GARDENA Aqua Count water meter Model- 18350-20 for $51.98 and can be ordered in store at the special order counter.

We went through Charleville in 2010. The kids kept calling it Shelbyville. Too much Simpsons, LOL. I remember the observatory was pretty cool. Another great episode. Cheers

100% agreed the water is smelly and hot. The water used to stain the clothes when I lived out there many years ago.
Oh no we didn’t realised it stained clothes!
@nowornever_aus We didn't have a water filter at all, over time (about a month) the white and light coloured clothes looked like they where soaked in muddy water 🙄 this was about 20yrs ago now.

My wife and I enjoy your videos as you tour our Country. However your videos just suddenly finish without even " signing off". We as viewers want to feel part of your journeys and part of your travelling family and to stop each episode without even a goodbye just doesn't feel right to us..just saying.

Yeah we love a sign off on videos as well but the way we film our stuff we never know when an episode will be ending, we have a laugh with each other wondering how others do it! 😂
