those who consider this depiction to be cool, should also talk to the veterans. some of them can be found in the town centres, sitting down on a blanket asking for spare change.

One other thing, connections mean absolutely nothing in the corp, nor does it matter what family you came from. The main thing is, that you are now in the corp family and we look after our own. My great grandad was in the british army and served in ww2 and was in dunkirk and he fighted to the end of the war. He fought for his country his family with honour and pride. He was a good man and a good soldier. REST IN PEACE MY HERO

This is the 3rd one I’ve watched so far. Those YT algorithms are at it again. These are some high quality commercials and you can tell a lot of thought was put into it for max effect. The US needs to make commercials like this vs ones of women trying to be infantry or what not.
Just an observation I notice when paddling they use the standard method. In a situation like that they should be using the red Indian method which creates no noise. The paddler on the right had the correct method but should have kept the paddle in the water. You then have no noise taking the paddle out and into the water.

Very nice special effects and I love the nature sound.
Difference between this advert and the Army ones - the Army is all about being “inclusive”. The Royal Marines? They’re exclusive. If you don’t meet their standards, you don’t get in.

Great advert. It will generate a lot of interest from prospective recruits, unlike the Army one which showed a squad waiting for a Muslim soldier to pray to Mecca. More British Muslims joined ISIS than joined the British Army in 2015, according to The Times.
You cannot beat that narrator for a military ad.

These Royal Marine ads are great, here in America our ads used to be badass but now they give off a more US Army, accessible vibe. Look up battles won usmc, there’s something different about it than our older commericals lol. Don’t lose your traditions gents! They are changing or trying to change the USMC and it sucks to see the old ways go.
