Gear - STOP Slipping Drum Stands

Is there anything worse than a stand that refuses to do its one job? Fix slipping gear fast with this one simple trick. The most clickbait description ever! But seriously.
This won't work for all stands, and if your stand has a broken part, there might be no fixing it...

The other boss thing about those stands is that you can take the arm, and insert it into the top tier portion and bake a straight stand.

I could not see where you put the tape in.

I pull the boom arm out and put the tape inside the clamp section. You want the non-sticky side making contact with the arm, so you can adjust it freely.
