I am so very happy to see Prince Edward doing this, it is quite wonderful to see really, all a family's histories told first hand. We truly enjoy the Prince's ability to not only know his history, but feels it deeply. Hopefully there will be more stories to come.

Sadly, there will be no more stories to come from HRH The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, because his production company responsible for making these films dissolved in 2001. Edward may have been a decent presenter but he apparently had little business acumen. His talents are revealed today as a full time working member of the royal family.

Another brilliant presentation by Prince Edward. Why ever did they stop producing such historical series. It's obvious to me that with the exception of Prince Michael of Kent, that Prince Edward delivers a most fantastic presentation as he knew the topic most thoroughly as it was his own family's history. I enjoyed it very much

This is my family's castle. I recognize it from the picture we had. I had no idea all this took place. Carew is my family's castle. My mother's father, Bill Boulton, gave me an old picture of Carew Castle in about 1985, when we lived on Day Road West, Bainbridge Island. Bill and my mom asked me to make a hand-drawn replica. I could not stop making mistakes. I spilled and splattered ink all over it repeatedly. I was so discouraged I gave up trying to finish it. They didn't care about the mistakes and kept urging me to finish it , but the damage was done and I was so devastated I quit trying to finish it.

Shame that our island has become an absolute hole....the government and local councils have sought to keep it in a regressed state, if your young...leave, if your ageing, pray....
Even tourism has almost died, the capital, Newport, is a shell of its former self.
Apart from beaches and stunning views, there’s almost nothing left here.
Sounds just like any other borough in the UK..

No one to any of today truly knows of these upon their own hands that are in books of only to truly selves to their own in their journals truly written. Speculation of others against the truth does not make true to a history. All of these in and since Gods death have paid dearly. And those with deep trust to God and so many persecutors for that in decades still to here this place is tribute. As.. it goes on still today and God warns and will always. This Isle has so deep in most of England and its running's to get away from persecutions and its land of so many trials.

I escaped London to the Isle some years ago, and I cannot go back to London, for this is now my home, G-d lives, in my heart, and has helped me to find inner peace, here in the silence of my home, I contemplate what is to come, as I view the world sinking ever deeper into the abyss of non belief & secularism.

The stele at video minute 00:56 names the family as Rufus. Rufus means red, as in the color red, right? If my suspicions are correct, Essau, Isaacs son and Jabob Israel's brother, was red-headed and hairy, as are my family. My mother's mother, my grandmother Elaine Hay had red hair. I and my two oldest children also have red hair. If my suspicions are correct, Jacob and his mother Rebecca stole the estate from Essau, the red. It has taken me many years to put all these clues together. Jesus Christ, who's birth name is Yeshua, was red-headed as well. Yeshua and Essau sound the same. Probably we are descended from Essau, Jacob's brother. That is my best guess. Furthermore, my next suspicion is that my so called friend Rebecca Moreland helped my family to steal my estate from me. I think the nation of Israel will not have peace until they return this stolen estate to Jacob's brother Essau and his descendants. There are still some discrepancies. There is a direct line of descent from Jacob Israel to Jesus Christ. That is what I was told. So that does not explain the red hair or the connection to Essau.
