  • Because Jesus knows us completely, He can lead us effectively. If Jesus is our Good Shepherd - we hear His voice, we believe His word, and we follow Him.

    I never thought of Jesus as a "wimpy" guy. Interesting. I trust pastor Smothermon so apparantly some people DO describe Jesus as wimpy, or apparantly apparently appearing as not very strong or masculine. I don't know that those words were used by Pastor Smothermon , is just the mental image I came up with.

    Sheep are easily controlled and manipulated due to their fear of the Wolf. Ironically it is the Shepherd that does the slaughtering. If Jesus is the shepherd and you are the sheep does that mean he is leading you to the slaughterhouse?
