You find the greatest places and that view cannot be beat! It feels like paradise in some of the TN and WV places you show in your videos. I can never resist getting mac&cheese and also the chix&dumplins if available (also love corn pudding/corn nuggets, corn something!) - you had great choices. I love how you are always willing to try new things. Also love your consistent shout out to Tennessee Ghost Wraith Chasers! I believe I had heard of them when I lived in Knoxville years back. My friends & I used to be amateur ghost hunters back in the day. It was fun (and kind of scary!).

I never realized the leaves on the trees changed so much down in Tennessee! It looked so much like our area of PA. The wings look amazing! Oh and homemade dumplings!! I don’t dip my wings in anything either, to me it takes away from the flavor. And Bobbie, I too love the way the cut up the tomatoes, I wish I could get that way around here.

First restaurant I've seen that make's chicken & dumplings like my Mom did(and Granny, her Mom & so on)! I like those better than flat/rolled out dumplings. I'll have to go there now. TFS!! A surprise & a happy one at that!😃😊😃

I remember back in the late 1960s an early 1970s when we would get a delicious Italian hoagie for 99 cents and a can of soda for a quarter, the good old days.

Thanks for the great review. We love it there too! They are part of the Johnson Family restaurants along with Alamo, Bennett’s, and Big Daddy’s Pizza. Sometime during the winter they run a BOGO sale at all their restaurants!!

me again.. im diggin’ the tunes in the background and my mom used to make chicken and dumplings like that, with real dumplings vs some that make them with what looks like strips of egg noodles. i want fluffy fat dough dumplings.

Oh my gosh that sub looked great! The chicken dumplings looked rich and thick as well as the mac & Cheese looks so creamy! Those wings look like some of the ones we used to get in Chicago. They are big for chicken wings and the breading on them looked spectacular. It's something diffrent and reasonably priced. A great place for families and you can choose to sit indoors and outdoors. The tables are spacious too, sometimes hard to find in Gatlinburg or Sevierville. Which is great if you got little ones.
I was pretty impressed by this place and John and Bobbi did an excellent review!

Thank you for posting this. So many youtubers are posting halloween stuff daily and it is so evil I can't watch. I hope I never see another one of those type of videos again.
The sandwich looks good. I used to own a sandwich shop when I was young (mid 20s) and I made my own potato salad, macaroni salad and spaghetti salad to sell with the subs. I also sold Dreyer's ice cream sundaes and jelly bellies.

Guys, nicely done as always. It's like I always say, mom and pop businesses are the way to go. Those chicken wings looked better than any I've ever had and I live in Boca Raton. Everything looked beyond delectable and If I ever get up to that neck of the woods I must make it a point to go there. I wish I could get that pound cake dessert to go. LOL. If you have never had Mama's Fried Chicken your really missing out it's the Best we have ever had!!! I have gone too Gatlinburg since 1970...it's our home away from home! Oh and were from the Great State of West Virginia and we lived in Preston County from the mid 70's till the 2010. My wife also worked at A&P. Of coarse if you see my pic you will probably guess were we lived and yes were still racing! We live in Buckhannon now.
I worked at the Kingwood A&P from 83-91 and went to school at Central Preston. We need to come to Buckhannon and do the Strawberry Festival. And we have eaten at the restaurant and have a video from there.😎😎
Gosh did that look good. I'd have to try the wings. Like how they don't over sauce them either. You couldn't even see the bone after that first big bite into them. You know a wing has been frozen when the bone is a dark color. Plus those had what looked like a nice coating on them.
