I used to doubt the “buy all the blackbirds” philosophy until I stitched my first one. Thank you for identifying that it’s addictive and maybe has crack in the patterns. Once I start a blackbird it is hard to quit! Thanks for another good video.

Christy, when you were telling about the Married at First Sight show my heart smiled because my son is a Camera Operator for reality TV and that’s one of his shows. He lives in Burbank CA. He’s 43 and will be a father on March 15, 2024 for the first time. And I will be a Grandma for the first time too!! Yay!! ❤

My first time I have listened to your Floss Tube. Born in ALabama, we wandered a good bit, returned in ‘85 to buy a house and share with a lot of family love. Now I am about 80, and settling down to stitch myself into the grave…. Want to leave everybody something. I live in the ‘Ham. My beloved hubby died in 2009 and rebuilding a life has been hard for me. I feel good now and I am sure the xStitch will calm and feed my Soul both.

I stitched the Sew Many Memories chart of the Featherweight sewing machine. I bought my chart in the early 2000's in Ohio Amish country. It turned out so beautiful. I look forward to watching your flosstubes. I love the bantering back and forth. I laughed out loud when one of your questions was, "Do you have a cross stitch budget? Lol I would love to win number 1.

Congratulations on the success of your floss tube channel. I have twin great-nieces that are named Whitney and Kayla. You gotta love the country life. We were chasing our neighbor's long horn calf around our yard the other day. It came from about a mile and a half down the road and we had a cattle drive to get it back home. 2,4,5

I've had a sprocket for several months now and never used it. My sweet husband bought it for me. Is the photo quality very good and do the photos fade over time. I really want to go back and take photos of all my finishes the past few years but don't want to spend all that time if the photos don't last long. Really enjoy your videos! Thank you for taking the time to do them.
Thank you! I’ve only had my sprocket since August, so I don’t know about the duration of the photos. The quality is ok, but for what I use mine for, it’s fine!

Love you heifers! My granny made the best chocolate gravy and homemade biscuits. I’m passing down the tradition and make it for my 4 granddaughters! Thanks to my youngest daughter, I have learned to make the best homemade biscuits! The trick is using Hudson Cream flour. Can’t wait to hear about your retreat experience! ❤

Great afternoon with the cousins! Callie, Your Rosewood Manor WIP is going to be gorgeous..Red Ribbon for sure! I recently finished A Tisket, A Tasket by Rosewood Manor and it about killed me...but I LOVE it!! Christy, your first sampler is something to really be proud of..find a special place to hang it so you can admire it every day! BBD charts are ADDICTIVE...I started collecting them 4 or 5 years ago and only have 3 or4 that I am still on the hunt for. I don't have more than two or three WIPs at a time, but....I always have a BBD project going, so I can have a good shot of getting them all stitched before I die!! Have a great two weeks! xoxo 1

Love the fabric storage Christy, mine are in a dresser separated by count. Started with binder storage for charts but not really working the way I'd want. Not sure about that Sable Callie, looks a bit like diaper fillings. 🤔 Keep going on your Feast of Friendship, I just have a few numbers of personalization left. 2

I'm also stitching Zucca. I'm using DMC Mouline Etoile C890 & C740 on 18 count Opalescent Raw Linen Aida. Where the chart has clusters/dots I'm going to try adding beads instead of stitches. I'm not a 'bling' kind of person but I accidently bought the Opalescent fabric so I decided to really bling it up. 1, 3, 4, 5
