Sometimes it’s a lot to do with the other person feeling bad and are worried about handholding someone who has no idea what to do when dating. Sometimes the shyness can also be awkward and overwhelming for them and it might get in the way of forming a more intimate connection. But regardless you never know unless you try at least one date. Feel like some of these people are just using that as a cover for something else
Cuz you dont want to baby sit someone who does not even know how communication and emotional responsibility works, after you have been in different relationships you learn a lot, and that someone who has never been in a relationship before needs to find someone with similar experiencies so they can learn together.
Not just for relationships, this also applies for friendships I feel. Some of my younger friends, I love them but their lack of emotional maintenance and emotional outbursts are tiring to deal with. I often feel like I'm babysitting, and I have to sit down for hours teaching them things, being their therapist friend, because it's all new and curiousity for them, but I've alr been there long ago and I want to keep growing too. This, I'm pretty sure also applies in relationships, finding ppl at the same pace as us is important. At my current age, I actually have way older friends who are in their late 30s, and even 50s with kids. I learn from them, but I try not to be a drag for them too, it's important to find a balance with older ppl you love and who love you back.

I'm glad that you included the people who match with someone. Your channel is my only source as far as the show goes since I'm not really interested in watching a full episode. I've only seen rejected compilations so I assumed that 90% of the contestants either rejected everyone or got rejected.
Anyway, I respect the honesty of some of the contestants because admitting that you're shallow is somewhat frowned upon when it comes to dating. However, it prevents both people from leading someone on and wasting their time (in my opinion). The fake interest in small talk is always cringe as FUCK to watch though. Sometimes you can clearly see them staring at the button while the other person is talking. The black woman who flat out said "I don't like you" mid sentence is the bluntness that I like.
