If you are offended by such, DO NOT WATCH. If you are watching, I don't normally do this, but I'm going to ask that you watch till the end. The very end.

I've been running Covid designated hospital since last month and I've never felt so helpless.. I've seen so many deaths in these days... people,desperate to find a bed, oxygen for their loved once...said "NO" to so many people each day coz I didn't have enough oxygen, medicines, ventilator...it hit us so hard😔..my family members got it too while I was trying to help others..
Funny thing: at the end of the day people blame doctors: treatment sahi nahi kiya,case bigad diya, relatives ko sahi tara se nahi samjhaya, doctors khub paise kamaya...I didn't ask for that..I didn't ask for this bloody money...God help those who lost their grandparents, parents, children, love once🙏

I am a front lines doctor too dear, saying no was the hardest part of my job in last 2months.n i have done it 100 times a day. Sometimes more. Very painful
But ur not alone there. So hold on..
We are a sorry excuse for Humans sir, forgive us, You and countless doctors, nurses, and med staff are doing the best they can... Please don't feel demoralized for a situation that is in no one's control...we are sure the patients you took care of, whom you saved and their families will always be indebted to you.
I love how Vir's audience is so mature. They dont talk over. They dont answer to questions that arent looking for answers. They understand the feel of the room, when it's getting sombre, when the pause doesnt need to be filled with claps.

Does the algorithm also take into account portions of video that are skipped or watched most?
@@doncorleone9297 not for this purpose, no. But yes it does monitor which parts of a video was viewed or skipped and by what percent of the audience etc. You can get a sort of waveform graph of viewer attention across the timeline of the video

Sponsors don't want to pour money into a video if noone is going to hear their name being called out or their services being mentioned. CZcamsrs with sponsored videos need to show the companies that they're getting an ROI. Which is why the more successful youtubers find creative segues or integrate quick sponsor plugs into the actual content. CZcams probably provides this feature because they know that without the ability to show sponsors a precursor to ROI, the big creators would not be able to retain sponsors and sustain their channels. They might then look elsewhere, losing CZcams it's revenue.
@@doncorleone9297 also, videos that get fast forwarded or skipped through don't get recommended in feeds as much, because the algorithm considers that to be a sign of disengagement. And if there is anything the algorithm is designed to do, it is to keep people engaged. Our attention is the product, the advertisers the consumers.

The most powerful message in the whole message for people who are grieving was "You tried.....and they know it". Thank you Vir. That lifted a lot of the burden off my mind.
A year and a half later, I'm hearing this for the first time. Vir Das has a remarkable talent for using comedy to highlight serious issues, but he also knows when to turn off the laughs and embrace the moment. Excellent video!

I lost my uncle to covid this year. My mom being a doctor was incharge of him.My family doesn't understand all that she has done. I hope this will make her smile a little more

Lost my dad during the pandemic but not of the pandemic…he had diabetes and congenital heart failure and died of that not of COVID.
But watching this now after almost the 4 years he’s been gone really helped me with processing the grief of his passing.
Dad would’ve loved watching Vir’s intelligent and compassionate comedy because he too had that kind of sense of humor.

I m on 11 th day of my covid journey,this is hard.just less than 5 months I have lost my father, I m 30,
Two days ago I lost a cousin sister who had left her 6 year old,she died with covid . multiple organ failure...this is so hard, this disease is very hard in itself, and the news around us so grim... heartbreaking.
I don't think I had fully acknowledged how much grief I feel and have felt for the past year - not just my own, but the weight of the world's grief and this sense of unending darkness and pain - until I watched this. A tight knot in my chest feels seen, loosened, by your words, Vir. And of course you knew how to make me laugh while I'm also sobbing. Thank you for your honesty, and for giving us a path to process this unbearable burden. ❤️
