4:12 you missed one... Don't worry, that happened to me when playing this... Overall great run, it still has the branching points at some areas, and some fun surprises... The hardest part in the final mission is the descent part... Due to the control and handling of the holding hook, practically it makes the player a sitting duck if they don't have any resources... At least you manage to get the good ending there! (Bad ending is the part you fail to escape the explosion and then end up in the hospital)
How the hell do you complete this games without dying I play these games a lot and it is virtually impossible to dodge all the enemy fire coming at you from every angle even if you know the enemies pattern
memorize the enemy patterns and stage layouts, and know when time you shoot/dodge/bomb practice makes perfect, I'm sure the player here had failed many times before getting the clear
@@cps1247 That's what I love about Metal Slug series. Very fair difficulty, as long as you memorize the paterns and discover the tricks to beat some of the game's stages/bosses...except 3. Metal Slug 3 can fuck right off.
The medal system follows on how fast you defeat enemies, mostly physical attacks build the gauge to full because getting 4 silver medals gives a metallise rank allowing a massive end of mission bonus, however, if you lose a life you lose the medal bonus. The highest bonus is the metallish rank, the metal slug, and saving 10 or more hostages (don't know which level but it may be possible)
You are insanely good at the Metal Slug series!, doing the almost impossible! Well done, Sir!!
I don't think "you're great" really does this playthrough justice, but thanks anyway roquette lawnchair guy.
Just discovered your channel recently, really enjoyable stuff.
This game is broken on so many levels.
Still, awesometastic playthrough man.
The haunted house, I think, was unfair. Locked in a room with mummies? At least in the previous games you could speed past enemies when you die.

Mission 3 was especially war crimey. Toasty. Good stuff :O
I'm just mad you can't play as Eri
@Joseph Johnson Oh I don't care about him
If only we can play them in different scenarios instead of Marco and Fio
22:40: sounds like Broccoli Machine Gun.

How does the medal system work? I see you get the combo item but what does it do exactly?

How do you turn blood on if you have the English aes version?
Okay yeah he's using a bot because that final boss was a flawless victory along with some shady (but awesome!) grenade spaming lol
Boss
When I see this game - all the time I ask myself a question: Are the soldiers in green uniforms the Nazis?))))))
That’s a very good question and yes
@@hazelramos2546 No, they're actually rebel forces. They're not the nazis, at all. :)
