Well, thats true, but what to say when unknown animal approach you? I mean it happens to me all the time and i pet them, usually they are dogs and they seems to be so happy when i pet them.

All i mean is that not every animal will harm you, they might be live on their instincts but they have emotions and can think as well. Idk if its only me, but when i look (for example) at a dog eyes i can say his mood and most of the time they are just saying "please show me some love" (mostly a stray dogs, but a house dog would like to be peted as well), so ig in 98% of the cases you can see the animal intentions through the eyes or their body language. Ofc we have to respect other beings as well, cus sometimes you know - the dog might be not in the mood for playing. Also from what i see i think Otto is just too kind and playful and i would pet him with pleasure

My neighbor used to have a dog with the same personality as Otto and he was so happy when he saw people. He passed a way a few months ago😢RIP Parker ❤❤

The "he was afraid to go out in the yard" got me crying. I wanna pet Otto too, cuz i don't understand why they're scared of him. He's such a good boy and if I would see him I would run to him and pet him for hours and play with him. Such a happy doggy❤

They can't understand that a dog's character is strongly tied to how they were treated. Even a Labrador, who are known to be friendly, can also be aggressive like how they depict Pits if they're taught to be

Seriously she had just spent 15 minutes playing with her and cooing over her and now she was terrified. Ugh! ok sorry this is one of my pet peeves. I'll hush now.

Yeah but you also have to be careful cuz not all dogs that react like Otto has the same intentions of getting pet. My friend's younger brother got bit by a dog cuz he was trying to pet him, he got rabies and later he 💀☠️
