Let's all just be simple, take a flat head and a hammer to the ring. If youre insisting on needing a special specific tool for a dang antenna. Then it would be wise to just stop trying to be a wrench. Your toolbox/garage would be jam packed with "special tools" including yourself. Kinda of have to improvise at some point working on your own vehicles
The antenna that was reinstalled was rusty. It only takes less than a minute to wire brush the threads clean and use dielectric grease on the threads to insure continued good connection.

I really like how you just don't say what tool to use and don't show how you got that ring off.
I watched this video to see what tool was used for the ring that holds the base onto the truck. The only tool not shown in the video.
What tool to remove ring?
Dealer only?
So in theory can you splice in a new one to the existing wiring if the old antenna just rusted out and snapped off in the base?
Do you have a video for a second gen 94-01 antenna replacement?
Thanks
