To add:
- Start Dragon hunts asap (instead of going to Avernus) for some of the best gear
- Get a Companion Enchantment with your Combat Enchantment, to massively boost your companions damage or your stats if its an augment
- You can buy the Assassin's neck, waist and artifact set for a big item level boost at low cost
- get the new legendary companion gear from the Northdark reaches when you hit the item level requirement.

the chart of the dread warrior is wrong. there is a diffrence of 20% stats (by you) but the comp only gives 10% total. and with the fixed stats it only gives a 5%damage gain

Thanks for the update. But again, Cryptic showing their stupidity...reworking companions that ARE STILL broke or changing useless stats, short uses, etc. I feel confident in saying they don't even test or actually play their own game. đ˘
The dread warrior could substantially help in random queue groups, where pp are not high end tailored, those stats could well be included

I am looking forward to your best healer companion, im a cleric so a companion with constant heals are always good.
Cleric devout? Generally, you will have to provide all the necessary healing with your powers, and run a team support companion, instead đ¤
@@abccba5125 battlefield medic is pretty solid in my opinion. constant heal over time helping me out often ^ ^
the Helmite paladin ghost whit his healing seal is really nice too for single target figths, it heals for 3% of their life to anyone that hits the marked one
You could even include some like the intellect devourer....who without providing direct stat support...has the mobs stunned pretty much half the time with a huge AOE...which equals a 100% defensive buff if you ask me, with strong chance to get combat advantage on the stunned mob...pretty big buff to a party!
They can't kill ya if they're stunned right?
@@0Jsays Correct...they just stand there stunned 1/2 the time...my favorite for PVE and as a bonus i find that if i stand behind him when approaching a mob...you throw a range attack and he will stunned them and provide a pretty strong aggro...they will walk right by you and chase him around...they cant catch him he moves very intelligently...the damage is solid...it is just not too hot against bosses...as they usually cannot be controlled!

So between scorpion cheap 'alternatives', what's the best ? Blink, panther or pseudo? Regarding the attack pattern, positioning, survival, which is more reliable for providing the ca buff
have u checked and tried battlefield medic? its healing is quite underrated if u ask me ^ ^ not exactly sure how he compares to helmite, helmite is a bit more usefull vs a single enemy, but having to wait for ur helmite or dreadwarrior to start doing stuff as cleric is just annoying, not to mention how often u usually have to swap targets in fights and redo debuffs. battlefield medic takes away those cares and helps with extra heal procs instead! (its only everyone in its aoe, but im sure its quite effective none the less)
not sure if they finally reworked the priestess of sehanine moonbow, shes supposed to buff with her light as well tight? o.o
Swashbuckler also grants combat advantage iirc and it's usually pretty cheap. Have you tested that one recently?

Hi Aragon! I actually noticed the tab on the spreadsheet today after watching your previous video (about upcoming patch) and was curious when the healing companions would be reviewed? Or, if in the current state of game and use of companion, is using a healing companion (i.e. One of the two Paladins) good for group content?
I will test the healer companions again, when they have finished making improvements to them

Does Swashbuckler deserve a place next to Pseudodragon, Blink Dog, and Panther? Seems like it's about 50% uptime granting combat advantage.

My angel of Protection still says it gives 5% defense to me aloneâŚ. Am i missing something ?

What do you think of people building around the Dread Warrior and switching their Flask of Potency with high rank Crafted Potion of Defense and their dps insignias with defensive ones? If I understand correctly people would lose 3.3% damage but gain 10k ratings in defense, roughly 5% dr
a feasible option, yes. But would not be a fan of it on my dps xD
I like to have my stats as stable as possible, no reliance on something that's no always going to be there
Sorry kids buzz kill coming. As a somewhat casual player who has grinded for a few months I find update 25 pretty lame. It is a mod for endgame players. The zone is ugly as sin. The 4 slot mounts are an obvious cash grab. Who wants to do the same boring repeatable quests in an ugly zone? Not this guy. My vip just ran out and honestly i was only logging in to grab my key and do a skirmish. Hoping mod 26 is better.
I think menzo is actually a lot easier to grind than Northdark reaches was. At least people do some of everything here whereas in ndr, everyone focused on running dark epic heroic for the most part. I definitely agree these new 4 slot mounts suck tho :(
@@dragonlord4801 That's not true? Most people ran a train in ndr too, not just dark. And the HE in ndr are a lot easier/quicker (weaker mobs, shorter distance between HE.) than those in menzo, making it actually easier to grind for currency.

@@NatePhan I can't speak about easier to kill mobs there since I'm at endgame, but on PS, the whole heroic farm in northdark didn't last long. Everyone went with worms and dark dragon shortly after it launched. I meant to say the weekly haul is wayyy easier to get in menzo at least for me vs northdark
Just to confirm, drizzt, Tutor, portobello's buffs only work within the 5 man group ou do they work for the whole 10 man group on the trial?
they provide the bonus to the whole trial group, all 10
The account version of spined devil comes from the lockbox too? I think there is an epic companion pack, that has the devil, tutor, NW knight and Minsc all account wide, but I can't see any on the auction...where it comes from eventually?
the account version came from a zen store pack
the pack is on the AH, look in other places, some things are not under the companion tab
@@d0n77 I found, in miscellaneous, like the legendary class choice one. Not that the search bar it's much useful in some cases, you have to tailoring your letters to obtain the results, writing a word that don't featured on the name of the item excludes the right outcomes. Implementation of filters with specific amount of AD , otherwise your results will ever be top 400 in a-z or price order, possibly cutting out some posts and reduce my chance of discover new items

no, I don't think that would make it worth it. You cannot rely on the buff to be active for when you need it. 2x Spined Devil might help, but again, they don't stack, and usually you'll just end up with them activating the debuff at the same time anyway.,

No, not really worth the switch, unless you feel comfortable losing the survivability as a result

Some people call that 50,000 Power and 50% Crit Severity in a Trial.

You don't summon them, you use them as equip bonuses. This video is about the summoned companions
@AragonVideos there must be a huge misunderstanding then n the community because I see tons of call outs requesting raptor for boss fights. Hope they see this and it clears things up.
Players want players in their party to use them as one of their 5 equip bonuses so everyone gains the massive boost in power, +18.75% when the full party has it slotted in their equip power
