the song actually has a very deep meaning. it says what foreigners think of Russia. Many stereotypes are built. These stereotypes are shown in the video. In fact, we are a very kind and friendly people.

little hint: Evgeny doesn't use the swivel technique on kickdrum, at least not that I have seen. He uses heel-toe-technique for fast double kick work.
Cool Song. Needed some blood and guts this morning with my coffee...lol. Seriously though great reaction, love the breakdown on the drum shoes and the slick pedal and loved the vocal switch up. Love the pop up boxes referencing Tank the Tech which was funny. Overall great job as always and keep up the amazing work brother.
Baba Yaga comes from Slavic mythology. She was a terrible witch who lived deep in the woods in a chicken's paw hut. She kidnapped people, mostly children, and ate them.

firstly, nice Tank reference man, secondly i FUCKING LOVE this track! i can put this on repeat for hours, the chorus is so reminiscent of Slipknot it's a great change up and just makes his guttural sounds even better because he's mixing it up.

they do some very heavy stuff, and yeah those Masks ARE awesome, you can buy White ones but i think the Gold ones may be reserved for Alex and his Bandmates.

the kick drum technique you're talking about is the "swivel" technique.. its a very natural feeling when trying to play that fast, and when you can manipulate it and control it... its very efficient =)
I think the cleans work. Reminds me a lot of Iowa era of Slipknot. For me they have enough effects on them to fit in to chorus
Ah yes! This is what I need today! I was wondering if this channel went into a "what the hell Wednesday" funk after those Eskimo Call out boy vids last week 🤦♂️. This song definitely shook that funk off. If anyone can cut in line in front of my Straightline Stitch request, Alex Terrible can😉. Those are not prosthetics, the body parts were donated by Vladimir Putin, body parts of his enemies 🤫. Also, I've seen lots of reactions to this video, and EVERYONE is missing the part where when Alex is wrestling the bear, that Iwrestledabearonce sounds are coming from the guitar during that part. The bass drum technique is called heel toe you don’t need a smooth board to do it if anything I think it’s easier with grip because there’s no sliding it’s hitting with your heel and then piveting your front of the foot to snap forward causing 2 hits in one stroke instead of one basically

Don't know if someone else talk about it but the foot technique is Heal/toe if you still search the name.
But I think he was talking about swivel technique. Even though the STP drummer uses, as you said, heel toe.
I know that Krimh uses baby powder on his pedals, so his shoes glide better for the swivel technique.

Super late reply, but the drumming technique is heel-toe. You use your heel and as you lift your foot up your toe hits it again before the other foot. Super cool and easy to learn, just takes practice but it's crazy how fast people can get their kicks.

Some references, that can be found there. Baba Yaga - in slavic folklore its witch, that lives in deep forest (word Baba or Баба in russian means either grandmother or countryside style of calling any woman. Thats kinda rude, but still), and in some stories acts as helper to hero of story, and sometimes works as "horror" antagonist, like she's stealing children and cook em in big pot. Also, btw, anthropologists, who study russian folklore also associates Baba Yaga with... How to say that. Like gatekeeper between real world and world of the dead, like clear origins of that character are somewhat unclear. In famous John Wick series John's nickname is Baba Yaga, altough she's clearly mythologycally woman, no male counterpart. So i can think that they either played on topic of either Alex acting as Baba Yaga, like some of russian lyrical parts saying, or he acted as killer of witch, because you can see, that body parts - head look like kinda womans head. So, he killed and they with boys eaten Baba Yaga, presumably. Also, interior in start of video is clearly interior of traditional russian/slavic home from mid-ages to even nowadays in countryside parts of Russia. One of boys also cooked some body parts in pot in start. So, thats mythological references. English lyrics and some parts of russian one are in style of "Im so tough, cool, dont cross way before me", etc. So i assume, thats probably reference to John Wick, like all that lasers pointed at Alex, tank, rocket launcher, bulletproof west. Also, scene in the end, where they play russian roulette - they all wearing russian gopnik, or 90-2000's russian mafia style clothing, thats why tracksuits with gold chains, leather jackets, etc. It is canonical look of russian gangster from mid nineties to up to 2010. Also, whole scene, i think, is reference to somewhat "cultish" russian dark comedy, called Жмурки, or Jmurki in stransliteration. I dont know, how to translate that word in context, because there can be serious wordplay. That is very obscure, gory and dark comedy about some unfortunate russian bandits and their doings. Also, i think, that song is somewhat collection of all russian related stereotypes, like bear, russian house, baba yaga (folklore witch), tank, rocket launcher, AK rifle, winter, bandits, vodka, russian roulette. But its not just like stereotypes, but whole design of video is not just make fun of em, but to make em look cool and stylish, so group definetely embracing that "folklore". Sorry for bad english and long post
