  • Replacing a RP-SMA Connector on a Teradek bolt 2000 Receiver. The RP-SMA PCB Connector is not an easy item to replace. You will see my technique of replacing one of these.

    thanks for the video, do you indicate any site to acquire knowledge in maintenance for teradek?
    we don't have national content about it, it's hard to find foreign content from here.
    I'm from Brazil.

      i wish i could give you one. the only place for any thing teradek related is their site. teradek.com you can get the Bolt manager software & Firmware to upgrade your device. Always make sure you have the latest version of bolt manager before trying to upgrade.

    Do the ground pads need to be connected to ground? Or are they just for structural support?

    What type of solder do you use when attaching the new connectors?

      The original stuff they use is solder paste.it contains no lead which is why it’s hard to melt I just use regular 60/40
      Kester.

      i Repair Electronics thanks so much! Do you think 63/37 would work just as well? I need to attach an SMA jack to a board and that’s what I have.

    Shouldn't you first connect antennas before turning on device?
