Trust has been so ubiquitously preyed upon that the safe way of interpreting the world is defensive suspicion. We are operating in a hermeneutics of suspicion.

Fukuyama explores this in his book Trust. How it is obviously a social capital and legal fees are often a tax on a society that doesn’t have it!

There can be no trust in a diverse society, something the West has been promoting for decades. The ancient Greeks saw this themselves when Dacians and other barbarian groups entered their cities and did not respect thier laws. The Greeks used the word 'Philia' to describe the innate love, or trust between Greek citizens. It is the non-Greeks which lacked this Philia and therefore brought the downfall of Greek civilization.

That's precisely the point of adding more authoritarianism systems of censor because of this outcome then adding more obfuscation be more direct propaganda. The problem is intended and the consequences is collateral using these devices to dampen their appearance or recognition. The main driver of diverse society is sheer practicaly: Mass Migration Policy by UN at Global coordination level.

Witness our protests in the States (and now globally in support of the Black Lives Matter Movement)- where "Community Policing" actually means stop and frisk - which assumes the guilt of African American motorists etc., which has lead to enormous social and financial costs. It's lead to undue suffering of those targeted and then the spill over and less trust between individuals and groups.

Heterogeneous societies are prone to this. The protests are intensifying the mistrust that's widespread in the society

Here in South Africa where whites are the minority and blacks rule tyranny goes the other way. But you can't have a movement called white lives matter because they will brand you with unpalatable names.

    In-group preferences (The Jewish example)
If we were all Saxons, trust would be the norm
If we were all Angles, trust would be the norm.
If we were all Celts, trust would be the norm.
    But no.
We have had the joys of multi culturalism thrust down our throats and trust is lost.

If we realise (or remember) that we are all Human Beings, trust would be the norm.

So if you are all Slavs then there is no need to have a war, say near the east of Ukraine?
