Republicans don’t get to bend the rules just because they don’t like the results. There was no evidence presented to these Trump appointed judges for them to waste more tax payers money to “find fraud” that they deemed didn’t exist. the law doesn’t work that way! @stevenshelton9443 Před 3 lety +34

John Singlet The problem is that an audit would not solve what is the real issue. Each state counted, recounted and verified its results according to their respective state constitutions. This had to be complete before December,I think, so the States could then send their findings to the Congress by January. Each of these steps are intended to certify the election at the local, state and federal levels. Any issues, (such as fraud or voting irregularities), that may impact the out come of the elections are dealt with before the results can be passed on to the next level. This was done, for the first time in my 65 year old memory), with the international news media watching every step. Note: While this process is traditional it has never before been a big deal and always considered formality...until Trump. What’s happening here is that politicians like Paul and others want to use the lie of a “stolen election” for their own political Benifits buy suggesting that their constituents deserves answers concerning voting irregularities and fraud. Be aware that Paul, Ted Cruz and others are not contesting suspected irregularities in THEIR states or districts but in the States and Districts of mostly African-American districts in Democratic states. If you know enough about America to ask such a logical question, I’m willing to bet i don’t need to explain this dynamic any further, lol. So that’s why more comprehensive audits won’t solve the problem. Paul and others are looking to scoop up some of trumps supporters by making them believe he’s fighting for THEM. He’s not. He’s dreaming of 2024! Hope this helps.

I get where Rand is coming from regarding Congress's role in the process. Semantically, neither Congress nor the VP certify the election. I think that instead, the VP COUNTS the electoral votes with Congress as a witness to make sure that no funny business takes place by the VP. Back before we became so connected regarding communication, I think it was at this counting that people actually found out the results of the election.

Only last year , a few months ago they discovered that the oceans are absorbing twice the CO2 they had previously thought and second, cold air rises. These things just discovered last year. In the meantime it looks like Global warming is happening and we should be acting on it but don't be surprised if we find out in a few years that it is wrong. And just because 99% of scientists agree on something is not a scientific method to judge something as right or wrong. Scientists are very biased and money driven, grant driven. No. George is aware of Rand Paul's past statements. He asked in order make RP declare himself so that discussion could proceed. RP weaseled out with "Have to investigate , 2 sides to every question". The state officials who ran the elections investigated, then certified the results. If RP and Team Trump want to investigate further, they can. Trump and the RNC raised $250M after the election, so money's not a problem. Their problem is that they have no facts to show the steal. Everything points the other way, as Rudy found out 63 times.
RP pulls the same tired trick all Trump backers do - he shifts from "Not enough fraud to swing (steal) the election" to "No fraud at all'. There's going to be SOME fraud in 155M votes, or in 155M of anything. He does it b/c he doesn't want to deal with the facts as they are known. Perhaps the number of cases of fraud in each and every state that oversaw their election was so minimal and/or non-existent that the legal teams for Trump had nothing to present to the courts, and that is why they specifically stated in court cases that widespread fraud was not being argued because such an extraneous assertion without anything substantive to back it up in court has real legal consequences. This is evident by the fact that Trump and his goons became so desparate that they actually pressed for the Georgia Secretary of State to COMMIT FRAUD by "revising" Georgia's popular vote results even after three recounts and various debunked conspiracy theories about the state's vote counting process.

Actually you’re missing a vital part. First the courts grant you a hearing. What that does is open the door for discovery so the evidence can be gathered at that point. The process of discovery is very important because it grants subpoena powers. That then gives you the ability to gather the evidence if any does exist. In a civil suit you don’t need evidence per say what you needs is is enough to show that fraud did indeed occur. The media relies on people not knowing how our system works.
So technically when the media claims there is no “evidence” they are telling the truth. The media doesn’t necessarily lie so much as omit facts. This is why they have tried so hard to remove any pushback and as many of commented here already the censorship began when they started removing comment section on just about everything they say to you.

Let me preface that I am left leaning. This election was unprecedented. I do believe that there is legitimacy to questioning the validity to how each state ran their elections because we never have experienced such a volume of mail-in ballots before. The Republicans party has their tail between their legs right now. Few are advocating for any course of action which would put Trump back in power after he has shown his true colors. That doesn't mean we should shut down any effort to understand where any fraud might have occurred.

George was at the all polling sites during the 2020 election ; he knows no fraud 🤪🤪

  • @birgittavanblitterswijk6998

I followed many courtcases about the assumed election fraude and as someone living in The Netherlands, which is a democratic country with a long history of clear and honest rules on what is what is not allowed concerning casting a vote and promoting the candidates in advance of the election, I was stupified and also terrified by the many existing possibilities in the USA for committing election fraud and parallel the misuse of power by the local governments/private persons, media and BigTech to support their candidate. So many of us outside of the USA and who are familiar with the traditional decency around the election rules still wonder who really won this election in the USA. And as long in the USA courtcases about what really happened before, during and after (counting the illegal ballots) this election are not dealt with in a proper way the answer to that question cannot be given. What annoys me the most is that the Democrates are totally not interested in a broadscale research on this hugely important subject, because if they as a party want Biden to get the presidential respect as president within the USA and worldwide, like they think he deserves, they should be in full support of such a research. And they are not, which makes them look even more suspicious of being a participant in the assumed fraude. This interview might look good in the eyes of some Democrates but to us it supports the idea that the true sense of democracy is totally lost in the USA. Sad, truly deeply sad.

Within those states, thousands of different counties and municipalities with totally different down-ballots, Propositions, local ballot issues, etc.
Totally different voter roles, different addresses, and they are all BAR CODED!
How do you somehow account for all of that, successfully manufacture fake ballots, get them to the proper states, counties, municipalities AND proper voting centers and infiltrated into the ballot stream at counting centers - by the MILLIONS - without somebody noticing???
