- A month or so ago, I created a sample club for Epilog Laser using a leather wallet design that I created a couple of years ago. I decided to take that and one up the look by adding some UV printed colors to my design. Although I used the wrong kind of ink, I think this looks fantastic! The color pop on top of the leather makes it really stand out.
Check out the full sample club to get the design and details.

Hello, I see that you are using some magnet for keeping the leather well placed. Can you tell me more about it? How do you make it stick to the grid?
The grid in the Epilog machines is magnetic so I just used a magnet on the top and it sticks to the bed.
@Maker Experiment is it a specificity of the model or grid of epilog you use? I have an helix and tried magnet but was not sticking
@@archireel_be it’s on the newer Edge and Maker for sure. I don’t know if it’s on the Pro but it’s pretty much across the Fusion line. They weren’t magnetic before now.
@Maker Experiment thank for the answer and for the great quality of your video. I am very jealous of your UV printer 😊. Would be a great complement to the Epilog I use today
@@archireel_be it’s been a lot of fun to use in tandem with the laser.
Be careful about the print heads. Especially white. It clogs pretty fast.
Yes, white is notorious for clogging easily. If it wasn’t a necessity for printing on darker items, I wouldn’t even have it.
@@MakerExperiment it iş the second time it got clogged. I am sick of it.
@@erem51 I’ve found that if I don’t run it every single day, the white clogs. Even 12 hrs between prints and it clogs. I end up shaking it for 2-3 minutes every time I boot the machine up. The printer ink for mine is in bags and I can shake them back and forth to help break up the clog. It doesn’t always work but it does help.
