- Welcome back! Today were flying the beautiful British Airways Aérospatiale/BAC Concorde! Our flight will start in the late hours at Boston Logan Airport, across the pond to London's Heathrow Airport. This flight is what I think it would be like if the Concorde was still in service today. NOTE, I am not an expert on the aircraft and its systems. Hope you enjoy this flight and aircraft from DC Designs who have updated it a few times since my first video on it!

I've refused to see Concorde on display until a successor is airborne. I think I'd get emotional, it's been a long enough wait.
Man she is geourgeous, and you put her all in the right light to show that off, well done! Watching this was a truely amazing experience! And with those re-heats lit at night that thing looks like a freaking spaceship!

I miss seeing Concorde fly. This was my most favourite video of yours by far. Could you please do a Concorde flight, with this exact aircraft, from Heathrow to Barbados and back to Heathrow? I think landing at Grantley Adams Intl. Airport was probably the most scenic of all landings. Keep up with your amazing videos!
I wasn't older than 4 when I saw Concorde leave Barbados. Can't tell you how long i was at the airport that day i just remember my dad saying 'Look Concorde coming". I watch it roll down the runway, iconic brownish tint smoke trailing behind, watch everybody covered their ears except for me lol and boy let me tell you... being that close to the runway back then at the old airport man that thing was so damn loud, and the pace it past the light airplane club at, mind boggling to a kid. I don't think i ever saw it landing, but that takeoff forever stayed in my mind. I was born in '94 so I consider myself lucky to see it. Last flight came in and stayed Sept 2003. I was at primary school, so I only saw it from a distance one last time for old time's sake.
Long story short. I'd love for MajorTom to do this flight

I may have never flown a Concorde since I wasn't old enough to fly to not bother the other passengers. But a visit to the prototype of the Concorde at Brooklands Aviation Museum in London has been a worthy trip in itself. I hope to recreate the flights with the Concorde on a simulator myself soon.

I was a baby and a kid when this plane was in service. I remember seeing it on TV in the late 90s and early 2000s. Total nostalgia!

Wow! If I have one regret, it is not pushing my finances out to fly on Concorde. There was a lot less exhaust smoke at take-off than I recall from the early test flights from Fairford back in 1969. And later we enjoyed hearing the boom and seeing Concorde high up on a Sunday afternoon at Weston super Mare, UK.

Saw the Concorde once in Toulouse, France - actually 2 of them, 1 Air France one outside and a British Airways one inside, with what looks like the older BA livery (which you can go inside). The plane is absolutely majestic to see in person, both inside and outside. Roof is really low though! What an amazing feat of engineering.

Nice video. The flightdeck looks nice at night. My biggest respect for DC making this plane as one man project but the flightdeck textures destroy every immersion....at least at daytime lol. Really nice video. Lets hope FSlabs brings us the concorde in "MSFS"-Style
I am fortunate enough to have actually witnessed Concorde landing at nearby JFK airport. It was majestic and had an OBVIOUS sound that made you look up. I always knew when it was coming in for landing.
That said: SUPER SONIC TRAVEL IS A THING OF THE PAST.
The fuel burn rate alone makes it so no one wants to even bother building them. The limited flight paths makes it so no one wants to operate them. The cost of R&D manes it so no one wants to invest in them.
The A380 and 747 died for the fuel and maintenance issues alone - never mind the reduced number of flight plans they could occupy.
The future looks like the A350-ULR, 777x and Boeing 787.
A bunch of subsonic TWIN JETS that can be modified for 80% business class and 20% premium economy by the longest range air carriers.
As much as I loved riding Business class on the Emirates A380, I can see that the A350 is about the best we'll be getting for some time to come.

Looks great. Not sure the afterburners should be kicking in and out at Mach 2.0. The were used for take off and going trans-sonic. Flew on G-BOAG on 22/07/2003. Amazing in every way
The autothrottle of this plane in the sim activate the reheat in nearly every situation where it needs maximum thrust....including climb with FLC or ALT AQ, even when reheat is turned off. Nontheless the concorde needed reheat for acceleration below mach ~1.6. Above Mach 1.7 it could accelerate to Max speed with Max dry thrust
Please bring it back.

Could you make a tutorial for starting up the Concorde? I have been having issues with it lately where systems are failing mid flight and after takeoff. I have seen many other vids but the issue is still happening.

This is the only bird I fly (personal relationship) 😏, and only disappointment was INS was not available for MSFS, and the front beacon light (red not white strobe) is missing.

wouldnt it be possible to take the concorde, taking everything out, so youre left with the shell, no seats, or electrics/engines, putting new and modern parts into place aswell as new and modern engines and using the concorde again as a passenger plane like she used to but more profitable?

How do you turn off the cabin lights
I've been trying to find a way to get that kind of Depth of Field effect in MSFS for it's entire lifespan. DoF settings in-game seem to do NOTHING! Have tried Nvidia's own shaders but...no you can never seem to get it right. Have tried ReShade shaders an not ever found the key. Little help here on that, maybe? Please?
I've been using Nvidia Freestyle filter for it. 'Auto Depth of Field' is what I use
