- To create this journal, I used as much authentic vintage or antique French paper, textiles, button, etc.  I truly hope you enjoy your walk-through of my labor of love. This was very fun to create, and even more fun to collect all of the French items and ephemera that it contains. Enjoy!

What a gorgeous journal, Andrea! I do NOT think this is a "bland" journal at all It is full of such luscious papers. I, for one, am so glad you did not add any digitals or ruin the antique vibe of this journal with other papers besides the ones you've used. I would happily add this journal to my personal collection because of all your amazing work. It's a treasure trove of history and lovely paper and lace.

Love the colors I'm seeing...and just look at those beautiful bead dangles...nice!! Lace on page edges always makes me smile. Lace on pages and lace pockets are visual joy! I love the look and sound of bead dangles on a page. No way could I bring myself to write in this journal...it would just sit and exist, Of interesting note: Another journal maker calls dangle lace and dangle beads "drippings." Her vocabulary always brings a smile. Well done!

Wow this is just a spectacular piece of art. Everything you've used in it is so cool and I really love your bead dangles (beads and jewelry are always my first love). Thank you for sharing some tips as well as your gorgeous journal.

I love what you have done Andrea ..... so special!!! What a clever way to fix the problem with the short lengths of string to add the dangles !!! Love it!!! As you said... making a journal that is very mono-chromatic is a challenge.... and adding little points of interest with little 'dabs' of colour helps brighten it up just enough without taking away the concept of the journal !! I really enjoyed seeing your lovely french journal ! !

Hi there - it is called Kraft-Tex. It’s a great product. You have to wash it to soften it but they have instructions. I added the website to the description ❤
