- In today's video I'm trying a on a selection of outfits from Tu at Sainsbury's. Fantastic value and good sizes. I'm a standard size 18 (UK) and 5'6" tall.

One last thing about IBS Helen. I think the reaction was caused by the fact we all keep these things to ourselves. We don’t talk about it. You were brave to do so and you hit the way you did that perfectly. By being so practical and open it enabled us to do the same. Enough. I was impressed with Sainsbury’s collection especially the suit. A great fitted jacket. Loving the garden shots xx

My Dad bought my Mum a lovely white bathing suit one time , first trip to the beach proved she was a natural red head🤣😂. She was mortified , especially since she didn’t notice walking out of the water and up the beach to where we were sitting . Once we told her she wouldn’t get up to leave until the beach was nearly empty and she was mad at Dad. 😂🙋🏼♀️

Back from 3 months in Malta Helen & still enjoying ur video's! JUST missed the heatwave!!! Although we live on a yacht out there the privous owners for some unknown reason decided to rip out all the installation so it can get pretty HOT without the air con running practically all the time. Interesting fact..in the UK electric is cheaper on a marina than in a house but it's the other way round in Malta. That white stuit was AMAZING for the price..very smart!!

I have been through all the test also, anyway, it is an inconvenience sometimes worse than others, - but I guess I accept part as aging process. You do a great job and why I have enjoyed you from the start - you cover so many subjects., and clothes that I appreciate - your trip to Japan and all around was so much fun to follow. - keep up the great job- and thanks for all the effort you put in!!😊😊

The dress looked so pretty.a real steal for the money . Just loved the trouser suit . Had to smile as I have the same cabin in my garden . I’ve never really looked at Sainsbury’s clothes but what you tried on was very nice. I particularly like the cream jacket and the gilet that was so long. I really feel the cold. I make a lot of my clothes but I’m going to take a look now at this range. 😊

Just going back to your video on ibs I appreciate that you were telling those who responded to push to have a diagnosis checked out. I was diagnosed with ibs around 25 years ago but around 5/6 years ago my symptoms worsened and after investigations I was diagnosed with diverticular disease. Then in November 2021 I was so desperately ill and it went on for over 3 weeks and my doctor got referred me for an emergency appointment for a colonoscopy and endoscopy where it was discovered I had pan colonic diverticular disease which means there is damage from my duodenum right the whole way through my colon. I have always eaten a relatively healthy diet and am a good weight though when I have a bad bout I can lose quite a bit of weight. I manage my condition by eating good balanced diet but when I have a bad bout then obviously I can’t eat much and during recovery I have to eat a bland diet with little fruit veg and no seeds or pulses. Once I’ve recovered then I’m back to a healthier eating plan until the next bout. It’s just trial and error and doing what works for you. Everyone is different. Oh forgot to say when I’m recovering and even generally I was recommended drinking kefir or eating kefir yoghurts or indeed any naturally fermented food to replace the good gut bacteria.

@@Helenmaryjo thanks. Your tips were great btw. I carry wet wipes as well at all times - I don’t flush them obviously but use the sanitary disposal after wrapping in clean tissue. Love your toilet bombs!

Loving the change of venue for this TU haul ……in the cream suit you could easily be off to a garden party or a wedding! The gilet is gorgeous too……I love layering cos I get so hot with my broken body thermostat! 😅
I think you’ve done a really good thing Helen with your IBS chat video……I find the same with my Parkinson’s ……until one person starts talking it, you don’t realise how many people and how they are affected by the condition because you can’t see it on the outside!

I was diagnosed with IBS years ago. It flares up when I’m stressed. My symptoms are bloating and if I need the loo, I need the loo lol 😂. I think it’s very common
Love 1sr dress - it’s lovely 🥰 ❤, the suit is lovely 🥰 too. I think though even if you had a bin bag on, you’d still look good 😊.

Yes in rural living the main door/entrance is at the back of the house, takes a bit of getting used to especially the postman and the like. Back to front living. No privacy if you want to sunbathe.
Tu clothing is very good, washes well doesn’t shrink or twist. Like the suit very much and the gilet, now where is my purse!

Hi Helen. Wow! That white suit looked amazing on you and I would definitely keep it and change the trousers for a smaller size. There would be many occasions when you could wear it.The gilet is very smart and ideal for the climate. The first dress was so pretty and it was a lovely change to film in the garden. It’s strange to hear the children are just finishing school over there as our schools closed on June 15th- the kids in Greece get a 12 week summer holiday! Obviously, this is because of our hot climate which at present is over 40 degrees!!🥵🥵Anyway, another great video and take care.❤️🥰

Hello Helen, the Tu clothes are really good value and looked well on you. Our local Sainsbury's here in Co Antrim don't sell any clothes. Must have a look online at their range. Your garden is lovely.

The white jacket -you MUST keep! It shows your lovely figure so perfectly! I would look like a potato sack tied in the middle wearing it, but it absolutely fit you perfectly, and yes the bottoms were a bit big, but I think that jacket could look really smart with a dark wash straight leg jean!
Also thank you for your honesty in sharing your ibs problems. I do not suffer from it, but I do appreciate that you are so willing to share this with your audience.

As a size 16-18 on top with a menopause tummy, as a general rule, I avoid double breasted jackets like the plague, but the cream jacket looks great on you 😃 I am sorely tempted to give it a try 🤷♀️🤔

Love the new location! The trouser suit looked amazing on you. I have the same problem with swimsuits so opt for a two piece otherwise I'm constantly pulling at it. Thankyou for the chat about ibs, my daughter was diagnosed with stress related ibs over a year ago and has really suffered. She has now had to change her diet considerably even though she ate really healthily. I am going to make her some of the toilet bombs for sure.
