Henry - the young man who became famous for riding wildly around the countryside, battling vicious enemies, all in his underwear.
Didn't think the Lady would believe a man in his underwear who can't fight could save a woman from 3 armoured men, lol.
Written on the sword, if you're wondering : Per mortem et sepulturam tuam / R. Libera nos, Domine (prayer Indicatio Christum) and it means "Through death and your burial, deliver us, Lord" (quite fitting for a Medieval god fearing time)
Game is so much better watching with someone who looked forward to it for so long and is passionate about RPGs. Thanks for sharing!

oh btw just as a little history fact: nicopolis was a battle in September 25, 1396 between the ottomans and moravian serbia 15000-20000 against a 16000 combined crusader force from the HRE France Hungary Wallachia, Croatia, England, Bulgarian Empire, Venice, Genoa, and the Knights Hospitaller . The battle was a decisive victory for the ottomans and resulted in most of the crusaders being wiped out with only a small portion escaping and leading to the fall of the Bulgarian Empire.Interestingly Sigismund who also was the commander of the crusaders was also one of the few that escaped.......and surprisingly i did know of that name but i didnt remember from where when i played that part till i did a double check.
love she started stealing just because she doesnt know how trade works (its not just money for stuff you can trade stuff for stuff) and that she can sell all Kunesh stuff
adn please when in inventory trun off item info so you can see how much of what you have etc
So I'm not the only one that facepalmed at the fact she stole 23 'gold' and about 50 charcoal and tried to haggle 9 more when she just became loaded (for a blacksmith's son, that is).
Hi Lilia, I'm enjoying your playthrough of the fully released game. I wasn't aware of this game until recently and watched some of your Beta videos. I'm so glad i did because KCD is recieving a lot of mixed reviews. Your enthusiasm for it made me take a second look, and I'm glad i did. Yeah there are some bugs, but the deep immersion of this game keeps me hooked. Thanks for the vids, I'm loving KCD so far!
I read this game was really buggy. So I am going to pretend it is a Bethesda game and love it
eizhowa any big rpg will have bugs. In fact a bug free game does not exist. Every game has sacrifices it has to make.
+Prototype 81 I know. I generally don't mind bugs. I just work around them. Thats why I still love Bethesda ;)

Tirigon Eisherz im currently playing on ps4 without the patch because my internet is so slow im still waiting for it to finish downloading and its not unplayable for me. I have only had a couple bugs and 1 crash and have been playing for probably 12-15 hrs
I haven't had any big issues on Xbox other than some slight lagging when I first get on my horse.

I was face palming so hard when you were trying to figure out how to pay for the charcoal. All you had to do was pick flowers and sell them to the herbalist guy. Lol

Honestly, I think the save system is fine. Once you get out in the game, you just get used to fast traveling back to the mill to sleep (sleep save). The save system makes you cautious about every fight. Endless save systems just make it too easy.
I didn't know your channel before but your LP of is one of the few I'm enjoying. Fun commentary, no overdone reactions and it feels like you genuinely "respect" and enjoy the game.

I started the game a few hours ago and definitely did not see that attack coming lol I hope it’s a super long game because I’m thoroughly enjoying the technical aspects to the combat and health systems.

Thoroughly enjoying the game but I'm worried about the blacksmith. First he gets someone else to make the guard. Then after he's already forged, ground & tempered the sword (presumably - and if not it's even worse), he puts the tang and enough of the blade into the forge so that half of it gets cherry red, ruining the temper, when all he needed was the end of the tang heated to burn on the hilt. After that, he puts the pommel on by just hammering it on the end of the tang. That would only work if he heated the pommel and then let it cool and contract on the tang. Otherwise, the pommel needs to go all through the tang so that he can flatten (peen) the end to hold the hilt and guard in place
This game is fantastic, what a fantastic vibe and atmosphere, very well done!

I love your KCD let's plays, I just recently got the game, but watching your let's play videos on it originally is what got me so interested in it. One of the few times CZcams suggested a completely new channel to me that actually ended up being really good. I'm so glad I was finally able to get the game on a sale at my local GameStop, and am really getting immersed in it. Yes, it may still have a few bugs, some klunky UI problems, and the lockpicking mechanic may be way too difficult, but the game as a whole is so refreshingly different and fun! I'll probably refer back to your videos from time to time while playing my first time through.

well then go watch walkthroughs without commentary. People watch lets play to hear what the youtuber says and thinks and how he reacts. I get them some of them talk way to much over cutscenes or during streams they ignore them and talk to chat etc, but during normal lets play on youtube like this i want to hear and want to know what the person thinks about it and want to see his reactions. It doesnt have to be much, just few words here and there when possible

I had literally 30 minutes of 1v1 fight, we both full geared with axe and shield. It was really realistically intense that after i won i feel pride and accomplishment i couldn't get in any other rpg game

this game is so good, i don't know if it's just because i love history, but it's so exciting to see a game that's focused on real history of the medieval era rather than high fantasy (although i do love fantasy)
that scene was so well done, i havnt felt that sad in a game since mass effect 2
The cut scene here is amazing (no spolier) when you know why this scene was so relevant later on.

Im surprised so many people die right off the bat, I found if you focus on escaping and watching ur surroundings you can get away on the first or second try. Everyone is different though.

Really, I think it is a good mechanic. Forces you to stay with your decisions.
Not sure if anyone else already commented, there is a mod on the KCD nexus which allows you to save. If you need to save in order to edit a new episode this mod would help you out.

Neither of those is my native language... so... am I at least somewhat close? What does the "R" mean? If that's it: funny that it reads "deliver us", given the title of KCD =)
Libera nos could be more around "Free us" but that's not pun enough.
It's looking good so far. I do like the fact that you let the cut scenes play out without commenting over the top, a few CZcamsrs could learn from you !

once you find an alchemy station youi can just brew saviour schnapps, really easy too. just need 2 belladonna flowers and one nettle. then look up the recepie to make it. takes like 2 mins.
Lila: 1st time Hal died....why doesn't he have any shoes??? LMAO I got to say that ambush by the Hun NPC soldier who was stalking Henry from the rear got just about everyone every time. And that whole path thing. After resurrecting Henry on his 3rd horcrux, I said fuck the path cause you're burning precious stamina. Dropped right down the side of that hill making a beeline for the horses at the Mill. The NPC soldier never catches up to Henry that way. Also if you make a quick attack/slash on the nearest soldier assaulting Teresa, you can distract them away from her. But then you'll have to run like hell to make the horses and get away. This is helpful in conversation when you reunite with Teresa later.
I picked all the herbs in skalitz and traded them for savior schnapps. Im in talmberg with 9 schnapps
You can actually save Theresa, just run behind those guys holding her, and smack one in the back and run. She will escape too.
I really enjoy your take on this game, only saw a few of your beta "plays" . Just started to follow this one. To bad I have to stop watching any further though as i just bought the game and don't want to get spoiled anymore than where you are right now. Have fun with your run and may the cheese be with you.

Saviour Scnapp is the first and only alchemy recipe you're given automatically and it's incredibly easy to make(relatively speaking). I don't think they're going to be an issue later once I find a good source of belladonna.
I've often wondered how bad it hurt to get killed during those times. This game shows me just how bad it might have been. Ouch.

i think they're pursuing you because you're on horseback and they figure that you're on your way to warn the next town over and they don't want you to make it because then the next town will be able to evacuate
I hope in the future the Lilia keeps her cam view on cutscenes too, it would be so fun to watch her reaction on them... These cutscenes can be really intense.
also there are 4 free saviour schnapps in your parents house you can grab from the trunk. Bianca gives you some too.
