Does this model accept rear auxiliary box? Those boxes that sell separately, known as satellite boxes.

Thinking of getting this, I'm not technically minded here. You hooked the hdmi to the TV, what happens when I want to watch 4k content through my 4k player. Do I use the optical cable for sound from the 4k player to the soundbar. Then hdmi from the 4k player to the TV is that how it works.

Did you try connecting the sound bar through WiFi and re test the sound and notice a difference?
Loving my Q600B. I'm just hoping Samsung make some compatible Dolby Atmos rear speakers for it soon. Or update the firmware to let it work with the SWA-9500S.

There are two sets already available.... 9100s and 9200s both compatible with the Q600B
Did the atmos rear speakers ever come?
My initial choice was Q600C (upgrade of Q600B) but the salesman offered Q800B for a thousand pesos higher but better model. So its now my new choice, its 5.1.2 channels and if i add 9500S speakers worth 10k, the Q800B will become 7.1.2 channels.
@robg5524 Lol, no. And it looks like they never will. But that's fine, I've accepted I'll be upgrading/ replacing my whole soundbar soon. Which is exactly what Samsung wants. But in due time. With all the praise the Q990B/ Q990C gets, I might as well go for the top of the line.

Hello, need advice. Buying my first sound for movies and gaming with PC/PS5. Samsung HW-Q600B or Samsung HW-Q700B. And will it work in a bundle, HDMI cable from PC ---> in Soundbar----> in TV Samsung ue8500tu?
This soundboard has some issue that might cause no sound anymore while you play a while in preliminary product, don’t know Samsung fiz it or not
Just a quick question- what was the size of the TV at 11:11? Was that 50"?
I have 50" TV myself and I'm afraid it will look a little too big under my wall mounted TV.
55 inch but I've pulled the soundbar forwards so it may appear bigger than it actually is in comparison

This was my first choice and approved its cost but the salesman offered my higher version but older model. Q800B. Older version of Q800C. The price is a thousand pesos higher to Q600C. But Q600C is 3.1.2 channels and Q800B/C is 5.1.2 channels and can be upgraded by adding 9500S sattelite speakers to become 7.1.2 channels. I think Q600C can be upgraded with 9200S

Is it worthy to buy Q600B ?
This soundbar is not compatible with earc , it doesnt work after turning on e-arc. Samsung service center is replacing a component after which it works fine. I actually got three replacements for the sound bar and found this was a factory made issue in the model.

@@TellyDan I also noticed the Wireless rear speakers have to be both pegged in to the mains, that four mains plugs for the whole thing. Think I give it a miss.
Yes because the 600b does not do Qsymphony also many of the features you would bet with a 700 and above only work with a w series tv I would have bought one but I only have a 4K Samsung tv
How is the bass
I have the q700b and with my lg oled c1. Flawless. The bass is deep and boomy. Something lacking from previous models. I can’t comment on the q600b but the 700b is top notch. I’d recommend that . But I don’t know difference between the two. Probably earc on 700b and the upward firing speakers get more height on the sound.
@@davidkay3443 q700b lacks Bluetooth multi-connection, no AAC support from mobile, also it doesn't support USB playback. But q600b does. For cheaper alteration Q600b is the best choice. We can consider Q800B If we have little more budget
Hey friends! I read on best buy about problems related to this soundbar. Every other comment says that it goes down after a week of work, anybody had the same experience?? will you recommend buying one? i am thinking to get either Q60b or Vizio m2.1
The demo one in the shop was not going, I decided to get one anyway and it stopped working that night. Then I read the reviews and they are bad.
Don’t buy it I had one stop on the same night then change it with the same model and aftre 3 weeks it also stop

a means 2021, b means 2022. the b vearsion has top speakers, and eARC.

I cant Figure out where the 9 speakers sit.
I can See 2 on the top and 2 on the Front and minimum one in center. Makes 5. I got q610b it should have 9 build in speakers.
But that soundbar sucks. 400euros and sounds like a better stereo soundbar. No overhead Sound. Tried All settings. I always hear the Sound from the soundbar and not every where in the room like dolby atmos or 3d Sound
What’s the difference between this and the 700B?
Q700b connects with smart things,chrome cast,Alexa etc. Also it connects with the higher end rears 9500 compared to the q600b 9100s/9200s

I have seen many people saying this soundbar stops working after hours of configuration. Someone know if there is an official problem reported to samsung? . Someone knows if there is difference between Q600B (/ZX /ZF /ZA) etc?
mine actually stopped working. I have not understand why. Only the soundbar stops working.
Not soundbar problem there is a hdmi cable ptoblem you must cut the no 13 pin at hdmi cable

i think there is a common problem with this model. saying so sound was imptessive. i swapped it for q800b.

Please read this product review on samsung before buying. My soundbar broke after 20 mins of using. Many of the 1 star review is in relation to this soundbar. Although samsung have great warranty service and they are replacing this soundbar for me, but beware, because this sound bar have serious manufacturing issue

I received yesterday, I'm using with an LG TV. When I turn off the TV and then I turn on the TV it lost the pairing with the soundbar so I have every time go in the tv menu to ri- connect to soundbar. Maybe I do something wrong I don't know, any suggestions?
Have you tried using an HDMI cable and connect it directly to the TV.
On TV make sure to select "HDMI ARC" port. Lg remote should operate it.

The q600a and q600b is not difrence..the diffrence just only the watt power another is same
@@juidas q700b doesn't have Bluetooth dual pairing, no AAC support and also No USB playback.
In america it comes with minor differences like you can use smart things and I believe true up firing speakers so not much

You get more hardware features w the 700 like room correction and SmartThings app but other than that not worth it if you want real difference 800b and above. Personally I have the 600b and it is PLENTY

I was watching netflix today and suddenly no sound coming out I've tried to unplug and plug all the connections but doesn't work, I also tried connecting via Bluetooth but sadly still no sound 😥😥...I've read some reviews on this soundbars and lot of people who bought this is having an issue like mine. Just bought this on July 2, 2022 hoping they will still replace my unit.

mine stop working after 2 months can't figure how to upgrade the firmware,try to do a hard reset no dont work try hdmi ,optique fiber nothing. I'l give this a few chances to work if not i'l return it.
I most that i can't instal the firmware. Maybe not the good type of usb? Maybe make a video how to instal the firmware that would be great.
Try cek your hdmi cable and what i know you must cut the pin number 13 if your soundbar not working...maybe your tv box is disturb your soundbar sistem

Здравей, аз също имах проблем с този модел. Работеше само 4 часа и го върнах, след което ми дадоха чисто нов, който дори не тръгна в магазина (Технополис). Избрах друг модел, който с удоволствие вече 2 месеца използвам, мисля че беше от 2021г.
@@smable1 След 16 дни ми го върнаха,и беше изгоряла някаква платка и още една част,която не разбрах за какво е.от 3 януари до сега си го ползвам,всичко е ок.

I just connected my q600b and it does a great job. I think the Q800 is over priced, especially for a smaller room..
Height speakers are just a bunch of holes and no, they are incapable of bouncing sound off anything. I love how Samsung makes an imaginary diagram on their website showing sound coming off top and bouncing down on you. Lol.
