  • Capernaum Episode 63 IOANNIS NIKOLAOU
Holy Land: Where the Lord's immaculate feet stood
👉In this episode we are in Capernaum. This is where our Lord Jesus Christ taught and performed many miracles. In this area was the synagogue where our Lord taught but we also find the house of the mother-in-law of the Apostle Peter. Of course, in Capernaum there is also the Orthodox Monastery of the Apostles Peter and Paul, which is built on the spot where our Lord Jesus Christ healed the paralytic who was brought down from the roof of the house by his friends. We will deal with this Holy Pilgrimage in a future episode.

💡Always keep your travel documents (passport and visa to enter Israel) with you and in a safe place because there are periodic checks. It is advisable to carry with us, especially if we are there in summer, bottled water and a hat. Face cream with a high protection factor to avoid burns. Sports shoes and a walking stick for support would help.
📣At all the Holy Shrines under the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem we can communicate with the Fathers in Greek. For our communication with the rest of the world we can communicate in English and of course in Arabic. But there are also many people who know Greek.
