Absolutely love that your content is relatable. No 10k$ tool box filled with 50k$ tools. This channel really shows you don’t need to have a shit ton of money to fix/modify things. No matter how big this channel gets he’s not leaving us behind with high tech tools and equipment.

Josh,I have mention this before but the time you're spending with your niece showing her how to wrench is something she will cherish the rest of her life. I still remember my Uncle and I building a stingray bicycle together when I was like 8. The time he spent on that bike to make it look new still makes me smile. Rest in Peace Uncle I.V. You are a good dude Shadetree!

Good to see that even though Shadetree has grown to a large audience, he still hasn't become "too good" or "too busy" to read/drop some hearts on comments. One of the few (only?) people I follow who ride Harley's. I get the strong feeling that even if you ride a bike that he makes fun of, he'd still be down to drink a beer and tell a few stories. Respect.

You are the cool uncle! Friendly tip is when loosening a through bolt it is easier to turn the nut instead of the bolt and it you have a wrench which is longer it has a leverage advantage. Great to see her learning how to work on a bike.

  • @vangoodwin7335

Josh and Chey keep mentioning that she's your niece, you work well together and strangers may be jealous of you young man. TORX if you strip an allen head bolt, go to the next size torx, tap it in and it should loosen the bolt! I use a ratchet and a wood working clamp to set fork tube end caps. I can screw down the pressure as I turn the ratchet tightening the cap. Just a few ideas from a fellow shade tree. Plus, I'm not as big as you So every slight I can use is a benefit. That's why I like watching Chey work. It reminds me of my daughter and son in the shop learning to maintain their own vehicles- two or four wheels!
Great paint job Chey, what a tremendous talent! Lot's of love for you young Lady!
    Josh, pass it on please?

Use a round file to create a small flat on the round tube. Centerpunch for your drill. Use the vice jaws as a datum to ensure your punch mark is in the centre. This ensures the hole will be perpendicular to the centre of the round piece.
