Nice mod 🔥🙏🏼 thank you for sharing
You're welcome! It's an easy mod to do and is nice to get lights on the Sherman.
Awesome stuff! Can you please also add a link to the front light thingy? How is the night time riding with it? Is the beam wide or narrow? BTW, does it block you from lifting the wheel with both hands? I heard that some of these lights don't leave anough space for your fingers
The front light thingy is linked in the description as the "3D Printable Headlight Cover". You'll have to 3d print one or find someone to print it for you.
It allows the light to stay as wide as it is stock, while cutting down on the amount of vertical light so other people aren't getting blinded by the headlight. I can easily lift the wheel with the printed light cover on. It doesn't get in the way at all.
Hi Again! Do you have a link to those ram ball mounts on the front used as stands? They seem to be all metal. My ram mount balls are plastic (wearing a bit) and use metal u bolts to mount which block access for me to tilt light up and down. How are do you like them?
Wish he answered you on this because I am looking for them as well
Nice! Do you have wiring layout for 3.5mm jack for the leds? I don't want to solder the wrong way and cause a short. Is it 3 wires on jack the matching to 3 wires on leds?
Any issues with splitter coming loose? I heard of jack comes lose it could turn off euc. Not sure if this is true.
I have an OG Sherman V3
Sorry I don't have a wiring diagram drawn up. The leds I used have a receiver that gets power from the 5v jack on the back then powers the lights. This way you can use the remote to change the lights however you want and keeps the soldering easy, red to red black to black. I used a splitter so I could keep using the taillight. Never had any issues with the splitter coming loose and even if it did I can't imagine how that would turn the wheel off it would just be the lights that are affected.
@@halfprophurley thanks for the reply! Good to know. On your link to the lights would I just order the one of the 3 foot string or need to purchase two? One for each side of the wheel. I'm guessing two since there are two recievers in your video. Hows the included mounting tape holding up?
@@soupnazi81 Happy to help. You'll need 2 of the 3ft sections yes, one for each side. The tape they come with isn't the best, I used e6000 to better adhere the lights and that's worked great.
@@soupnazi81 make sure when you solder the 2 receivers together the wire length is identical for both of them otherwise if you use one of the moving patterns one will start a half second before the other and they'll never sync up.
@@halfprophurley awesome thanks for the info! Checking to see if anyone rlse sells it cheaper than Amazon usa to canada. After conversion and shipping its $70 Canadian for two. Haha
