    It is indeed a helpful kit. Got one myself for Christmas! Use it almost everyday.

    I was thinking about buying an electric screwdriver set, so I saw your video, and then you mention this video. After seen your review, I will buy the Pro tech toolkit is why more professional use. Great video!!!

    Get just the screw driver kit. Buy a set of random width picks, a much better suction device, tweezer set and spudgers on Ali.

  • @cthulhu4me
    @cthulhu4me Před 3 lety +1

    Well that kit went straight into the shopping cart, I'm so tired of the really low end stuff and that magnetic mat plus the bit set cover's grid looks super handy. Glad I subbed, this is just my kind of channel.
    I've always heard it pronounced "sprudging" ... but, whatever, I'm not one to care as long as you can glean what somebody is talking about.

    3:22 I'am a state certified electronics technician, and for me, those ESD-Straps are just unusable. You put it on your wrist and these things are just annoying. xD And from my perspective, you have to have very bad luck to kill a device by ESD, it is just very unlikely Espiacally in europe, we have a norm that any electronic device that is sold in the EU have to be tested by a specific protocoll that includes the capability of the device to withstand 2000 volts ESD surge voltage. But great review, greetings from Germany :)

    I was going to until I realised it was £21.99 for about 6 non-magnetic bits, a spudger, and a few guitar picks. There's a £30 kit which comes with around 48 bits but doesn't have any other tools.

    • @CyberCPU
      @CyberCPU  Před 3 lety

      They are expensive but now that I have one I can say they are worth every penny. I went the cheap way for 20+ years and will never go back. I absolutely love the quality of these kits.
      Also, the tips are magnetic. At least mine are.

    Thank you for you review! I’ve been debating on buying this kit for awhile now myself. Looked on Amazon seen a bunch of kits with more bits etc but I always come back to this one. I too have all my tools in the plastic bag like you showed in the video 😂 . Do you know if you get the lifetime warranty if you buy it off Amazon or does it have to be bought through the I fix it site?
    Thanks again

      I'm not sure of the warranty. I would assume it is still lifetime. I believe ifixit sells them on Amazon.

      @@CyberCPU @CyberCPU Tech Right on! Have you seen the packaging on the new kits? Ifixits logo is the blm black panther anti-white big black raised fist with black sunburst lines emanating outwards. And if they claim they have had that logo for a long time, Im not buying it. They didnt have to make it all black & 100% identical to the BP raised fist. Not only will I NOT buy their denial if they so choose to I decided to NOT buy several kits I was planning on buying for fathers day!

      @Metalhead-4life Před 3 lety

      @@SillyOmega did you not read my comment. I know they have had this logo for a long time but they modified it to include the sunburst rays & made it all black to conform Exactly to the terrorist blm logo. They chose to pander to blm & the BP's so I choose not to support them.
      Listen if I owned a company & some group let's say isis comes along and adopts my logo I'm gonna change it so my company is not associated or linked with that group in any way but what did Ifixit do, just the opposite they modified their logo in support of the terrorists and are proudly displaying it on all their new kits! And I don't mean a tiny logo on a box. It is the box! As big and black as they can show it off to each and every customer. Heck I wouldn't be surprised if they are donating a percentage of your money to buy weapons for the terrorists.

      No, in fact I even say in the video that it's not a sponsored video. It actually cost me money to make because I had to buy the kit and the Google ads earnings have been less then the cost of the kit.

    Why should we believe some that doesn't do alot of repairs or is too cheap or too lazy to even paint the room he's using. If you did in fact do more repairs, your own tools would not be in a plastic bag. Case and point, you just told everyone that static straps are useless........if they are then why does everyone put them in their kits.
