Juju music 1975 Admiral Dele Abiodun & His Top Hitters Band Adawa Super Sound (Olumo ORPS 21) Adawa Super Sound / London Special / Chief Kayode Akinsanya / Bamidele Alawode / Ati Lo Alo Bo
What a great musician, I remember this song so well, I was a very little boy back then when all my big brothers with their big and long trousers (Labu) and the six inches high heels shoes with the afro cut hair styles dancing in the living room with their girlfriends. It was a sweet good old days 👍.
This is a really rare album. Takes me back to the days when we were wondering how the hell Sunny Ade re-incarnated in the form of Dele Abiodun (if I remember correctly Sunny Ade was banned from releasing studio records during the period when this came out). Little did we know that they were different artistes with a similar style. EgbaAlake you do well! Prof.
I love him like kilode ....the sekere, Gangan speaking and his soft succulent voice , everything was just smoothly operated. 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃🪘💃🪘💃🪘💃🪘💃🪘💃🎸💃🎸💃🎸💃🪘💃🪘💃🎸💃🎸
Myself and my siblings paid 250000 for him to play till daybreak for my mother's funeral in my home town in 1991 hmmmm l wonder how much he charging now
see how melodious juju was then. fuji was trialimg behind. the leading juju musicians like sunny ade and obey etc.hould be blamed for the death of this good yoruba music. theu failed to groo m its future generations
This is the vintage music i grew up with. Many thanks to whoever post this. It brings back very fond memories!!! Please does anyone has Emperor Pick Peters songs to share?
Very few artistes can survive the long tenure of Sunny Ade. Dele Abiodun capitalised on the period Sunny was banned for leaving African Records/TYC to record E kilo f'omo ode on Sunny Alade Records. Pick Peters on the other hand antagonised Sunny with his Omo ode de, omo eran da? His star dipped and never rose again. Sunny kept re inventing himself. No two records had the same beat in the 70s. Dele tried his best in the span he was a complement to Sunny.
sunny and other top juju musicians killed juju by suppressing those rising under them. where is juju music today? it has left the stage for Fuji to take over
@@babsjay4239 where on earth did you hear that outlandish old wives tale from? Eras come and go. Fuji will never reach the height Juju has reached. Juju was the first genre that gave Nigeria a first grammy nomination. The only reason why juju is on the decline is that people are lazy to put the hard work Obey, Sunny Ade and Dele Abiodun put into their craft. Fuji, requires no talent, just sing along.
Can someone help me with the album in which he sang ,won gbe e omi Yan....I have been sampling his albums just to get this track. Any help would be appreciated.
@@omotobialele4320 Please help do a good biography about him on Wikipedia so that we can have more information about him and his works. I wish him long life.
This is bringing back memories. Please put up the other guy i think ihis Peter something, there were conflicts between Dele Abioudn and they were releasing records fighting each other
This music is seriouly, seriously baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad aasssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
dele abiodun was a good vocalist but pick peter had better voice. however dele was able to overshadow pick peter in areas of better percussion, arrangement and harmony of music
I want to see this music legend to resurface again.
I'm waiting seriously
That was when Nigeria was good. This is really a flashback. Dele Abiodun should be in Nigeria.

If you google groovemonzter website, you will find a few Pick Peters records there.
Emperor Pick Peters music is good ,but not at the same level with Admiral Dele Abiodun. The latter has a greater exposure and more instrumentations.
Legend, Dele Abiodun should re invent himself back to music arena rather than leaving Sunny Ade alone on the since, He is among the Great. God bless.
Tajudeen Banjoko thanks
