Yeah, but in taking Loki home, Thor was relinquishing Thanos's grip on his little brother. And bringing him home (remember Odin McShitParent gave Loki his punishment, not Thor, you bet your ass Thor protested) where he belongs. So in a way, he was setting him free. Loki in Ragnarok is the free-est we've ever seen him, he's comfortable, he's with Thor and he finally knows that he was never Odin's favourite, but he was ALWAYS Thor's.
So, in a way, its kinda sweet...

Can you believe it that ALL of these characters live in the same universe? a talking raccoon, a walking tree are breathing the same air as the masked vigilante and a hot-tempered superpowered P.I in Hell's Kitchen....along with the Fitzsimmons, Agent Carter, The Avengers, SHIELD and the inhumans....Spiderman, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Guardians, Asgardians, Aliens and citizens of hell's kitchen...the rumor saying that there will be a total 67 characters in Avengers 3, just hope all of these characters will come together eventually sharing scenes with each other.
+Adam Azri I know it's totally bonkers, but that's one of the reasons why i love MCU so much. So far only Marvel had the balls to pull off something like this and my appreciation of their work is literally endless.
centperk they've basically explored almost EVERY single corner in MCU, they gave us the massive globally success The Avengers which fans have been dying to see since the 70's, they gave a huge surprise with Thor, Guardians and Ant-Man with their realms or realities, they explored the shows with shield and flashbacks to the 50's with Agent Carter, they also gave away one-shots telling what happened in-between movies, they gave prelude comics for the movies, netflix shows for the dark, gritty and horror elements, CSI stuff in Jessica Jones, political thriller in civil war, magical world dimensions in dr. strange...seriously, they CAN DO ANYTHING without failing.
+Adam Azri at this point. everything marvel do will be a success.. marvel logo before every movie make people want to watch. because we know we will get something out of the movie. and go somewhere with the story.
+Matthew LaSalvia With the exception of Fant4stic, I think Fox is doing X men universe right as of late. So yeah, X can stay at Fox, but they need to give F4 back to where they truly belong.
Gerrit Bates yeah, they dropped the ball on Apocalypse. Shame...DOFP and Deadpool was so good and made me think FOX is finally going in the right direction.

True, but they have invested beaucoux Bucks into this (as well as Star Wars) and it's paid off because for the most part they are keeping their hands in to the absolute minimum. Quite a change from the days when The Mouse's wallet was tighter than a bull's sphincter in fly season.
End of Avengers 4: *The universe has been saved* Starlord with an exhausted goofy grin just plays this. Commence montage of all the heroes having a very well deserved happy ending with an "And the adventure continues" vibe.

Guardians of the Galaxy exceeded all my expectations. It was a perfect blend of humor, heart, and action. The characters were well-developed, and the chemistry among the cast was palpable.

this didn’t cure my depression from infinity war it worsened it bc most of their contracts are ending in just a few months. pretty soon we’ll all be in the cinemas watching their last performance together. the end of a truly iconic era.
