As a beginner, I appreciate the slower episodes. Thanks for your content!
Try to watch in 0,75 velocity
Thank you for these episodes! I really love this beautiful language!! Greetings from Italy!!!🇬🇷🇮🇹🙌
Thank you🇬🇷💎✌️Really, are you studying Greek and if yes, how long....?
@@user-vu9sd6lx1o Two weeks😊
@@blondewarrior1487 Pretty nice...Is she difficult to you ?
Thank you for making this. Apart from helping people learn Greek, you've helped someone like me who is visiting Athens and eager to use public transportation, but who was intimidated by not knowing how the system works. Thank you! I can't wait to visit!
hello… 1 month ago i was in greece (thesesaloniki edessa and athens).. especially in athens i couldnt understand how to use those tickets.. i had bought normal ticket but afterwards i had learned how to use it.. i would like to watch this video before i went to greece:) but no problem.. i follow you.. and i like your videos.. greetings from turkey
Thank you for this video. I visit Athen next week and it is always nice,to be prepared of people like you, that make videos like that
Very useful video, I'm planning to visit Greece this October
that's nice. it was only the yellow trolleys the blue buses and the one subway line that was running from athens to piraeus that i remember when i lived in greece in the late 80's. i really love greece and the people, and one knows it is true because one misses it.
I also miss the yellow trolley buses!
No se griego, pero me gusta 😀. Espero aprenderlo ☺👍. Saludos desde México 😉👋🇲🇽
Saludos!
Thank you brother for this video! Going to kape beach today
Efharisto! Thank you! I needed this!
One of the main concerns that visitors should worry about when using public transport in Athens is the risk of pickpocketing.
Thank you for bringing this up. It has happened to me as well as many people I know and it's something worth keeping in mind not just in buses and the metro, but anywhere in central Athens.
I got almost into that situation, when I was using the tram that goes around the coast of Piraeus. The thief tried to put his hand into my pocket, but I outsmarted him and had a strong grip to my belongings. In the end, that bastard didnt even want to let me leave the tram, once outside he said some curses that were definetely not greek to me. Well you have to be careful
@@numoesso6892 The pickpocketers are almost never greek people , sadly they are immigrants who are struggling financially one way or another and have resorted to these type of behaviors.
That is indeed an issue. So people should be mindful of their stuff. But that's something that can happen in any transport network anywhere in the world. So it's not a problem specific to Athens. All in all, I think the city's transport system is quite safe.
Amazing!!!!🎉🎉 I'm more calm now going to Athens next week
I wish I had watched this before I went to Athens, lol. Very informative and thanks for the slower pace.
Great job
That's so interesting !! it's a very useful video :) Ευχαριστώ παρά πολύ Dimitris από την Κορέα😊
Greetings from Sunny Greece. ✌️🇬🇷
And you can buy cheaper cards in the stations if you are going to stay for longer :)
Greetings from Kalamata City(Messinia🌊) ✌️🇬🇷
THANKS...
Is the 3-day tourist card for 72 hours, so if I stamp it at 4pm it's until 4pm?
(I'm asking because we have something like 76 hours in Athens).
Cheers! thanks again
good
(basically) Whatever is true for the metro to the airport is also for the suburban railway and the metro and suburban railway have the same tickets just with different colouring . Stations outside of the city zone or the airport don't count.
Love you Grèce♥️♥️😘
A lil bit of the nea smyrni neighborhood to see 😊 i miss it
We should shoot a new episode there soon!

I caught the blue Airport train from Syntagma sqaure and it stopped about a third of the way along and everyone got off....??, I had no idea what was happening as everything was in Greek, after wandering around that station confused I had to catch another blue train 10 minutes later going to the Airport, very stressful when youre English speaking and a tourist
Thanks for the video. When you buy 3 days ticket do you need to vaidate your ticket everytime you are inside bus/tram/train or do you validate it once then it will last for 3 days? Thanks
As you watched on this video, the answer is the first one.
Every time you get in you have to validate it
Is there an option when you buy a ticket to get the words in English? Or you have to know Greek to use the Machine.
you can pick any language of the flags displayed at the 1:33 mark
Is 3 day pass valid in all modes of transport like buses, trams, metro...??
That's what he was saying in the video.
Is the simple ticket of 1.40€ valid for all athens and all transportation methods (buses, trams, metro..etc) ??
Yes! Just not to/from the airport
yes
@@EasyGreekVideos yeah right for the airport you need a 10€ Ticket
👏
I need answer please can i use my card bank in bus ?
Unfortunately no
But you can use it to pay for a card/ticket
@@giannisvasiliou4857 unless you are in Plateia Ippodameias Tram Station it doesn't work
I have a very big problem that is ..
I am learning Greek language since 1 year but i am still not good in listening and speaking 😔😔😔😔😔
Will you help me in learning Greek language
Αν εγώ θέλω να πάω από τον σταθμό Λαρίσης στο Κορωπί και την άλλη μέρα στο αεροδρόμιο τι χρειάζομαι;
Προαστιακό;
Ticket machines are only in Greek?
No, but showing different languages would defeat the purpose of the video! You can see the languages available for a split second @1:30 (English, German, French, Italian, Arabic, Russian)
@@cubicle89 ok, thank you :)
@@cubicle89Watching this has been very helpful!
I've been watching a lot of videos like this on CZcams for research purposes because while I won't be going to Greece anytime in the near future(but hopefully.maybe someday),I am writing a comic book on Hercules(but in my comic, he will be called by his Greek name ''Heracles''-which is a mistake that is often made in most of adaptations in different mediums of the mythological character but in fairness,''Hercules'' does sound a lot cooler than ''Heracles'') and the prologue of the comic(which won't be called ''Heracles'' nor will it have him on the cover) takes place in modern day Athens,so I want to make sure that everything depicted about modern day Greece in the comic is as accurate as possible..
@@JR-ju3kj Nice! Good luck to you! I want to make a comic as well. If you visit Athens in the future i would suggest you come in the days of the Athens comic con.
It's called Comicdom Athens and they have an internet page where you can be informed.
It's not usually in summer ( the last two conventions were in April and September) and it lasts for three days.
We also have a bunch of comic shops in Athens.
@@georgek5737 Thank you!
Good luck to you with your comic, too!
And if I visit Athens in the future,I'll take your suggestion and come in the days of the Athens comic con!
