Nice! I picked one up a month ago after having been off bikes for over 30 years. My last bike was an '81 CB750F Supersport... I didn't want to be tempted to do what my younger foolish self would do. ;-)
I’m not entirely sure where this is but in Australia we call these viragos I’m pretty sure I’m spelling that correct but yea cool bikes I’ve rode a few in my time and there pretty solid cruisers
No unfortunately not my friend, I found out by filling her up and going until she started to sputter lol. Then I had an estimate and what she could handle before reserve.
@@waltswildyou could also wiggle the bike left and right and listen for the splash sound, you can get a rough idea how much it have left with experience
Smaller bikes like 250cc are going to vibrate more than bigger bikes, I feel a decent amount of vibration. That being said if it's excessive, especially in idle you may want to get it checked out just in case. Ride safe my friend!
@@waltswildWell, it's bothersome to be sure, the pegs really tick me off. i'll have a look at the mounts and the clutch and if now I'll see with the cam chain. Thank you bro, stay safe.
And puts the same smile on your face , for a fraction of the cost ……. My yammies never left me stranded and have never cost me an arm and leg ….. what’s that Harley saying ? It’s not a Harley if it’s not leaking oil ……..
I'm glad I had to ride this during my MSF course last year. Haven't ridden after the course but I'll be picking up a 2015 V Star 650 Custom next week.
That's awesome! Safe travels friend.
Don’t get a 650 it’s outdated you might get it stupid cheap but 950 is larger and comes fuel injected and you won’t feel embarrassed by 883s
I have the 2002 vstar 650 with 16” apes and small hard bags I love it
its groovy! and super chill, like it would be parked by the beach
I been wanting to ride this for a while , it’s absolutely stunning and the weight is just right for me
It’s a nice light bike, extremely nimble easy to ride! Go get one girl!
I had a 2014. Absolutely fantastic starter bike. I've got a lot of great memories on it.
Just got my 2014 250 a couple weeks ago, an absolute blast to ride

This is also what I got for my first street bike, I have a scooter I ride some dirt trails with but this is very fun for its size and price

Just bought mine this week

great around town bikes-- njoy , be safe
Chop it😊 what is the rear tire size?
Also got 2015 V-Star 250 as my first bike, with my fat 230lb ass it barely goes up to 90km/h, how fast is your going?
Lol yea not the fastest brother, that’s okay. I’ve hit 80, not recommended at all.
Does it have a fuel gauge? If you don’t mind me asking because I’m looking to buy a 2021 to mess around with in the city.

Hei, I have a question, does yours vibrate like all hell? While idling and while in load? Thank you, super cool bike

Helmet bro
How tall are you sir? I’m looking into purchasing one but am scared at 5”9 I will be too small
No way bud, 5’9 may be too tall lol
@@waltswild thanks mate
How are you liking it so far?
It’s awesome man, it’s obviously not super powerful and shifting into second and third is pretty clunky but it’s a light maneuverable bike
I am 5'2' 70 years old man I want one
Nice bike but maybe get some apes they would fit you better
Haha thanks man, not a bad idea. I probably will
is this for sale?
why not start for sound test? daim that was anti climatic 🤣
lol battery was dead
Has it carburator?
Yes sir it is carbureted
What is your height?
I’m 5’6
@@waltswild thanks. Nice motorcycle
Just make sure you always have a helmet. I have friends that aren't here today because "helmets are for nerds"

Wear a helmet Squidly

Did you sell it yet for a bigger bike? 😂
