Great video :) Just a suggestion, when going into caves equip meds into one of your quick slots. That way you can eat meds on the run in an emergency.
hey to let ur fire place last longer you could get some logs and split them up to small firewood. all the excess wood you could build a firewood pile
You should go grab the flashlight for future adventuring. It's northwest near the mountain. I think there might be a POI marker, but there's a guy hanging from a cliff and if you cut him down he drops a flashlight.
Wait, is it the guy who has a GPS locator as well? I must've missed it when I cut him down

The glider can crash directly in to the ground with no damage, just don’t hit a tree.
Actually grave digging is kinda important if you want a shotgun.

You could try add batteries so that the lights work at night. You van get more electrical supplies at the maintenance bunker

Shame you didn't inspect all the dead bodies in the food area. You missed the crossbow.
Also pay attention to walls where you may find a fire axe.

does anyone know if you can turn off the enemies and other creepy things in this game?,, i love to play for the crafting systems such as building homes and exploring in peace.
I think it requires a new save, but I believe you can set the difficulty down to "peaceful" or something like that

Spike traps is the cheapest and visible for you to avoid. It only requires a stick and 3 rocks. My base is surrounded by spikes.

The spring traps just launch anything in the air, so any animals that trigger it may be flung away somewhat.
Throwing a spear at someone's head tends to be much more effective than jabbing, unless you are aiming at the legs so they fall over (Easier to deal with while they are unable to walk or run).

You chose one of the worst areas in the map to build

i let others help with the play aspects. i, however, am obsessed with Virginia and Kelvin 🤣i watch to see how they react to the gamers, and read all the devs have provided .. these NPC's are special and i love to see them thrive with the player.
~ do you have a drying rack outside? always have a fire and a couple arms/legs on the drying rack *she will help herself 😊 later, build them a couple berry bushes .. and take a radio home with you (she likes to dance) and in the early times like now with her, when she does the ballet dancing, watch her ~ *if that sounds creepy to you, then don't show us 😉
~ but she wants your attention 😉😊
~ also, if Kelvin seems stuck or 'broken' you can hit him without hurting him with the fixing hammer. *he has issues sometimes
..brace a log against your treehouse tree.. someone said that stops him from messing with that particular tree
if you tell Kelvin to maintain base, he will fix all the places the cannibals crashed into 🙃
