I watched this video a few months back and you convinced me to buy an INVG. I finally found one for a decent price and bought one. Now I’m rewatching this to justify my purchase lol.
I don’t even think about getting dual tubes now that I have an INVG. Glad you found one for a good price. It’s crazy that people try selling used ones for about the same as a new one.

I have the Norotos INVG Hyper mount. For a monocular use, it's had to beat. Plus, I love the fact that I can flip up and rotate the monocular so it's up against the helmet. My favorite thing is the fact that it's Push to Overcome vs. the Wilcox mount button operations.

The g24 is fine for a pvs14, you have to get the right j arm. The dual articulating arm from noise fighters is great. There is another duel joint that was just released but I don’t recall the name.
I agree, that Noise Fighters J arm with dual articulation is a game changer.
Oakwood machine works makes and aluminum one for 160 compared to the noisefighters 200 dollar aluminum one

Just FYI, there are J Arms that allow you to pivot the monocular up and out of your eyes. When the mount is up, you can pivot it inwards to the helmet. Mod Armory, Noisefighters, and Code 4 Defense all come to mind.
I showed off the Mod armory arm in this video. It articulates from eye to eye but not out of the way. The noise fighters one is great but I personally just don’t like systems that just rely on a tension screw.

Really helpful info. I'm new to the night vision game and couldn't really find a clear comparison between the G24, Rhino, AKA II, etc. For a PVS14, can I use the AKA II with the Norotos Dual Dovetail Adapter? It wasn't clear to me based on the description on the website. Thanks
If the AKA 2 has a dovetail mount and not a bayonet mount, you can use the dual dovetail. Glad you found this helpful!

Great vid! You're a good Presenter. What about the INVG with the Noisefighters AX-14?
Because of the free moving joints of the ax-14, it won’t be a good match with the INVG. I’d recommend the USGI J-arm with a bayonet adapter over the ax-14. If you already have the ax-14, I would recommend a Wilcox G24.

I advice against the hyper mount. There are cheaper, lighter, more versatile mounts available.
