Organism Films presents, 'THIS WAS DUNES', a short documentary film on Agroforestry

An award winning documentary in a number of film festivals including, the 13th annual Awareness Film Festival, the Independent Short Awards Festival and the International Shorts Festival, 'THIS WAS DUNES' tells the story of how a small group of farmers in the NE of Brazil are using the ancient technique of agroforestry to take back their sovereignty, fight climate change, regenerate soil and bring back biodiversity that is being destroyed by a bad government. The answer is in the forest.
This short documentary film was shot entirely on location at the Coringa Agrofloresta in the Northeast of Brazil near Trairi, Ceara. Surrounded by the unparalleled beauty of the Praias de Norde, known the world over by Kite Surfers of all ages, the Coringa Agrofloresta is only 90 minutes by car from the port city of Forteleza, Brazil's 4th largest.
