Few years back I took the same cruise with Royal Caribbean Voyager Of The Sea. After that cruise, I swear I will never board another Royal Caribbean ship again. First, the food was horrible. Second, it was inundated with Chinese group tourist from China. This group of people have zero manner of any kind. From cutting in front of lines to hoarding tables. Most of the crews seems to be from Indonesia and many from China. One doesn't speak much and never crack a smile and the other(Chinese) were quick temper and ill suited for hospitality service. Filipino crews are the best. Their English is good and always, there's a smile. The worse part of it was the food. They tried to cook all kinds of ethnic food and failed. I noticed that on this cruise, I hardly notice any Chinese and the Wind Jammer was definitely an upgrade from Voyager Of the Sea. Thanks for the video.
One very important thing that I think you didn't mention is that is this an "Obstructed Ocean View Balcony" or "Ocean View Balcony". There's a substantial price difference and I want to know if it's worth it to buy the latter.
Hello Palek, thank you so much~ Sorry for the late reply. obstructed ocean view is basically where you won't get a full 180 degree view because of the protruding parts of the ship. To be honest, if you just lounge on your deck chair in your balcony, you won't be able to tell it's "obstructed". And if you really want a full-bodied view, you should just head up to the top deck anyway. Hahaha,

But if adults wanna go and relax there is no option of leaving tbe kid at any place ?. Also for activities what do u think is a good recommended time. Hello there, thanks for watching! As I understand, they really don't allow kids in the Solarium. So best options are: don't bring kids, OR bring someone with you who can take care of the kids while you relax. hahah. As for the sports equipment, I believe they provide them for you. There are no "good recommended" times for activities, it really depends on you. Some activities are only available at certain times, and some are available all day. So it's up to you to plan. =)
Thanks for sharing your experience onboard. Do you have idea on when can we start our reservation on the productions or the facilities? I have downloaded the apps, and somehow I still can't make any reservations, not sure it's due to my trip is still quite sometime in future (end of this year).
Hi there~ thanks for watching my video! Yeah you won't be able to book any facilities until you're onboard, and hooked up to their onboard wifi. No need to purchase any internet package from them, just by connecting to their wifi network, you'll be able to use the app properly. Hope this helps~

E.g. shows, North Star, sky pad, bumper car, iFly… and yes they are booked through the app. For some other activities like quizzes, exercises, dance lessons etc those are not “bookings”, it’ll be just be “adding” them to your app calendar. So the app will show you everything that you have lined up for the day. :) pretty neat. More specifically, for Flowrider, please don’t be mistaken that you have to book. It’s actually open to whoever wants to play, just have to go to the office next to it and sign indemnity, then queue up to play. The “bookable” ones on the app are private sessions, and are chargeable. Hope this helps!

Hello! Thanks for watching! Well gratuities is like tips for the service staff on board… they actually need it for the industry to survive. So mine was prepaid together with my ticket. I think if you skip it, you’d probably still be charged at the end of your cruise to your overall bill… it’s up to you to go to guest services to justify you are unsatisfied with the cruise service, to have the gratuities removed entirely. I’m not sure, but it’s better you check with guest services when on board, so you don’t get any surprises. Haha For North Star I think it’s USD$20 for the 8 minute one and USD$40 for the 16 minute one. Sorry I can’t remember iFly cost because I did not try that… :( hope this helps

Oh wow thank you for asking about it! I'm a big fan of tech and cameras so would love to share with you. I was using a mixture of 3 cameras: my iPhone 12 Pro Max, the DJI Pocket 2, and the DJI Action 2. The reason I use so many cameras is cos certain conditions were best for certain cameras. (For e.g. in the pool, I better be using the action cam! haha) As for the colours, I actually do some colour correction and grading in my editing process, so perhaps that affected the colours in the video the most. Hope this helps!

Hello! Great question. So basically by logging on to the Wifi, it does not automatically give you access to internet. But it does allow you to use the app. To have internet access, you’ll need to purchase the package after logging on to wifi, and going to your browser. Hope this helps!

Just book an appointment for the actual day of your sail. swab.moh.gov.sg/appointment/login Of course best to book an early timing, as soon as you have confirmed your sail date and bought your tickets. Then on the sail day , about an hour after you done your ART, you will receive an SMS and a update on your “PET status” on your Trace Together App. If all okay, just go to the cruise center and show your trace together app. No need for paper. Hope this helps! :)

There is wifi all throughout the ship, u just need to purchase for the wifi package while you’re on board (or even before boarding, think they’ll offer to u when u purchase your tickets)… there’s a lower tier one for “surf” and a higher tier for “surf and stream”. Personally I think the wifi in “surf and stream” is pretty fast! Could even do video calls!

Logging on to the wifi allows u to use the cruise app, but if you want internet access with that, you need to purchase the internet package from them. you can buy it together with your cruise ticket online, or you can buy it onboard. Unfortunately safety isn’t a top priority. No life jackets in rooms and only available on deck 4. Does the management really think every one could make their way to deck 4 in time should the need arises? Remember what happened to Costa Concordia? I wouldn’t take anything for granted especially when you’re out at sea and vulnerable to so many elements beyond our control. And the narrow hallways is another serious concern… I’ll never bring my family back there ever again.

Hello Ivan, thanks for watching! No I did not ( cos I mostly drink plain water and tea), but I was on board with some people who did! I think there are a few types of packages; one that offers soft drinks, and another includes some alcoholic drinks (capped at USD$13 per drink). With the package you can go to any bar/cafe/windjammers to order some drinks other than the complimentary ones. Good idea too though, cos I hear the complimentary fruit punch at windjammers is way too sweet, or taste a little like medicine. Hahaha. Hope this helps!
