Got mine last night. This one definitely handles Active electronics and 5 strings better than the Amplug 2, but the drive channel isn't really for me. Too much saturation washes out the low end a bit more than I prefer, but I'm also spoiled by a Darkglass Microtubes X Ultra on my board, so this is definitely a personal taste. All in all, I'm happy with my upgrade from the previous model.

To my hear, modern bass sounds much better
