I'm Buddhist from Myanmar. The greatest way of living taught by Buddha for us is "Be Mindful every moment". Since I've started practising it,i feel peaceful and my spiritual quality is better. When you become mindful every thought of yours, you will understand yourself gradually and life is more meaningful as a human being.❤
Buddhism is amazing! There is another similar to it, it is following the Wisdom of Marcus Aurelius. Unfortunately, it is not a religion. To me, I made it into one but instead of calling it religion, it is veneration because it appears there are people who follow the Wisdom of Marcus Aurelius world-wide. I call it- Marcureanism.

Ever since I was little I have always found myself suffering from internal ailments of various types (anxiety, sadness, depression, crying fits...), and this led me, at a certain point in my life, to undergo psychotherapy to cope with my profound suffering.
At the same time I have always felt a deep vocation for disciplines such as religion and philosophy (I now study philosophy at university).
I don't consider myself Buddhist, but I can say that for me Buddhist practice was fundamental in learning to feel better about myself, and I believe that the Buddha's teachings have universal value.
I have personally never found their depth, as well as the benefits they can bring, in any other philosophy/religion.
I am infinitely grateful to Buddhism for what it has given me and for the good it has been able to affirm in the world.

It makes me cry every time I see someone promotes Buddhism because it truly helps people in every way! there is an answer to every problem we have, and it cures it. Being a Buddhist for almost 10 years, I can not thank Buddha enough for his teaching, it truly changed me, and I hope it will help everyone who's suffering.
Bhudda was just a man. God is real and He loves you.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Because of our sin we do not deserve heaven, because we fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin, so we could go to heaven when we die.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Jesus said all we must do is put our faith in Jesus to save us. He died on the cross and rose from the dead three days later. He will save you, if you trust that He will. There is more evidence Jesus existed than any other ancient figures. WE have over 30,000 manuscripts. Put your faith in Jesus today, and trust HIm as your Saviour.

First, Buddha is not a God. Depends on what u describe as God? Most people assume that there is a single entity that creates the world and living beings.
There is no such entity in Buddhism. Buddha through his direct observation, learn that beings are created by their own karma. Yes, there also exist universal / natural laws, such as law of impermanence, law of how the life death cycle works, of how karma works etc, yet through his direct observation, Buddha cant find the first cause / creator of this life cycle besides of worldy desires / attachment (desires to indulge in wordly senses and desire to come into existence)
What Buddha taught us are those particular knowledge, especially on how to break this suffering life, death and rebirth cycle (called samsara)
Second, the action of worshipping, such as bowing, offering incense etc is actually part of ritual and tradition, which is more like honoring Buddha’s efforts in gaining those particular knowledge through countless lifetimes and then teaching it to us
The ritual is to show gratitude and respect for that teaching.
in fact the ritual itself is also an wordly attachment. Once you achieve the first of the 4 stages of enlightment, you will notice such rituals / worshipping doesnt really help in liberating the suffering cycle.
so, in recap
Buddha is not God, cause there is no such omnipotent being like creator. instead there are natural laws that give orders how universe and its beings works
Worshiping is more like the act of showing gratitude and respect for the Buddha’s teachings.
Hope you get a clearer point of view now

You have selected the best Thero to learn buddhism. I'm following this Thero's youtube channel and the preachings changed me alot. And also i'm sad about one thing. No matter how good your video is, i mean you learnt about Buddhism and you created a video to let us know your experience but, people are commenting in such a bad way. I saw some comments saying that they are happy to be a Buddhist and all sort of things but, some toxic people from other religions keep replying harsh things. They wanna force others to follow their religion. As a Buddhist, I have never commented someone to force that person to follow buddhism cause, it's our own choice to select what's best for us. Those people who comment harsh things, i don't think that they follow their religion in the perfect way. Maybe they have a religion just because their parents are from the religion but, i actually can't believe their religiousness and also no one might have taught them about humanity, not even from their religions. Sad about it. But i wonder why i don't see those type of comments related to their religions (except buddhism). Anyways, you have learnt something new and you shared your experience with everyone. We learn until we die. You are a perfect example for that Nas. Keep learning more.
