I've spent some time in MT. My favorite MT movie is Rancho Deluxe.

Well I was lucky enough to have lived in Kalispell a few miles away as a young guy. Been to Whitefish a number of times. Beautiful country but this property is a bit out of my price range. LOL

I knew it was out of my price range the moment I saw the faucet running and thought “O.K., WHO LEFT THE WATER ON?!” LOL! 🤣

Kalispell is nice but I loved Whitefish! We stayed on the golf course with the sky resort in the back ground! Absolutely beautiful! And with the Park being so close I felt like a little kid going out exploring everyday. One of my favorite vacations!

What do you call a mansion in the middle of a forest? Kindling. Fortunately the builders of the palace recognized the potential for a firestorm in the future and went with stone and iron. The only buildings that have survived 100+ years in the forest were built of stone and iron. The place is dazzling though remote. Not like you can walk down the street for brunch.

A truly exceptional home. Did it sold and for how much?

It did sell, although we're not at liberty to disclose for how much. Such a beautiful home!

Where are the big roaring fireplaces? Looks like a big hotel lobby.

the fireplace if you paid attention is the circular copper clad floor to ceiling right in the middle besides the kitchen from 20-26 seconds in the video, they just go by it too fast. That's why I love this its not the same old same old but really great design. and the cliche oh its a hotel lobby. So sick of the standard this has some thought put into it. Wish it had not been sold so quickly, but it was because its a great design. To each their own, but again, love this, just wish the home theater was larger!!

Great place but architecturally and conceptually it doesn’t belong in its setting. Maybe the suburbs of Vegas or LA, but it’s overkill most anywhere else.

Beautiful house but you'd have to be mega rich and have a huge family otherwise what's the point. How do you like the heat and cool that place in other words you better be rich just be able to afford it and to be able to maintain it. And again what the heck would you need all that room for unless you had a huge family ?

Feels very cave-like. Too much wood and stone. Love the decor though.
