- This bus is quite special, as a passengers view, you can't find a more comfortable bus in todays market. Engine as smooth as silk, hardly uses any fuel, just pure Mercedes quality.

For a Euro 6 that is amazing
It's not too bad, nor too slow.
Yeah, I wish more people in the UK ordered this bus, as the alternatives are sluggish. This thing really shifts and sounds great too. And very little rattles
There are no rattles, and almost no vibration from the engine
Lukeyboi It’s too expensive for many of our bus companies, that’s why not many ordered these sadly. Quality bus, definitely but Mercedes Benz doesn’t come cheap! And look at Wright and ADL if you want to know what happens when buses do come cheap!
Here in America this engine is known as the Detroit DD8 and the OM900 series was known as the MBE 900, love these engines.
Greetings from London!
Enjoyed watching this, sounds nice! Rather louder than the Euro 6 Citaros we have here!
Sounds very powerful 😎
Wow, I love it 😍😍😍😍
I hear a loud EcoLife. By the way, the engines and the axles are making some music here.
Vert good ! Nice video !
Very nice video!!
But what an incredible sound from that engine! A pity that here in Brazil, Mercedes-Benz, will bring the OM92XLA Again in the Euro 6 era, therefore, with an improved catalytic system. This OM93XLA apparently seems to be smoother and more grave, compared to the previous one.
I don't know why is the reason to do this at Mercedes. Because in Brazil makes custom versions of O500U and O500UA chassis with OM936 engines. Is a more advanced technology, even with VVT system to improve emissions.
@@stift18 I wanted to understand why the OM934 and OM936 engines didn't come to Brazil. Because I know they are much better engines and with a much more up-to-date system. Currently, in this comment, the new Euro 6 models are already in circulation, therefore, still with the OM924 and OM926 engines. However, in articulated and road models, there is a ''small'' change, before they used the OM457, now they use the OM460. But still, the OM460 is also an older model. Well, what can we do, we will have to settle for these engines AGAIN.
Shame the streetdecks arent spec'ed with this setup. Absolutely supreme.
Good job I love It superbe vidéo
Very nice :D
J'adore !
Era esse motor que deveria estar no Brasil desde 2023, não o antiquado OM926LA.
Love the sound! What a rocket!
Very good
Si e bello 😊😊😊😊☺☺☺☺☺😃😃😃😃😃😃😍
1:42 wooh😱
hooo niiice !
I would love to watch the rpm and speed...and some downshifts...I miss the diesels.
The sound is still the same as the OM 926 LA engine, but stronger
London were stupid to get rid of the bendybus ones and worse ban any new ones coming here it's a real shame this is one of my favourite bus types
Coventry also got rid of theirs sadly...
Hardly anybody else wanted any period, unless it’s for an airport shuttle! That seems to be the only time they’re popular in Britain!
@@ChilternTransportProductions even when it comes to new ones with normal size they are rare
Can I use this for OMSI 2?
Yes.
@@MercedesCitarobusvideos Thank you very much!
In what's city Is this buses
Many european countries especially France and Germany
@@Windows-uz5lv And in spain we have a lot of them.
JOSE PIÑEIRO ACUÑA I don’t doubt it. But I‘ve seen a lot of french and german videos espcially
@Arandon Alfa Wolf This video was filmed in Oslo, Norway 🇳🇴
It knows how to rev...
Buuut it doesnt impress me at all.
Buuut im used to a MAN D15 Diesel... which is very fuelefficient aswell. (1L 5km average with Kickdown)
Nice vid tho!
D2066 E5/EEV for life
@@maaax1173 the one and only with the loud Turbo 🥰🥰🥰🥰
D15 is much more powerfull tho...
@@AllianceB95
The D15 has the same power but less Nm. 360ps/1800Nm for the D2066, 360ps/1600Nm for the D1556. There's also a weaker version of the D1556 with 320ps and 1400Nm.
That's on paper, I don't doubt there's still a difference in perceivable power
@@maaax1173 the max torque of the D15 is already avalible at 1000 rpm... And at 900 rpm it already has enough torque to pull strong.
I got a MAN TGS 18.400 D15 400hp... I can pull 30t and i barely notice it.
I had a 460 Volvo Fm.... With more torque.. buut you did notice the 24t load...
The D15 is a unusual strong engine for it's specs.
@@AllianceB95 Interesting, I thought we were talking about buses, as the video shows a bus. I can't say anything for trucks
