Teaming up with his daughter Savannah, a 2nd prize International Dance World Cup winner, the visually striking video showcases her partaking in an impassioned dance performance in the gorgeous Blackheath Halls, London. The blissful sequence is intercut with a spotlight-soaked portrait of Alexis playing the piano - a visual that is a truly beautiful family affair.
Of the song, Ffrench says; “I wanted to write something with a certain immediacy that spoke to people and connected with them, as that’s always at the forefront of my mind. The training for a classical musician is steeped in words and academia, but my main aim is always to communicate with people. When I produced ‘Bluebird’, I had the pleasure of working with the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, Czech Republic, and legendary mix-engineer John Bailey (Coldplay, John Legend, Paloma Faith).
‘Bluebird’, for me, is filled with a variety of influences, from Debussy and Satie, and is an expression of love and hope. It is born out of improvisation. I wanted to write something that expressed a certain innocence and purity. There’s so much trauma around us right now and I wanted to share a moment of calm, beauty and consolation. There isn’t enough of that in the world.”

A little story from me for those who have time to read this long comment: This composition means a lot to me for so many reasons. I lost my husband in an accident 7 years ago. We were both young, only 31. We used to love camping and one of our favorite camping grounds was in Colorado. There I saw bluebirds for the first time in my life. They were so so blue and tiny and there were so many of them. I felt like a Disney princess because they were not scared and were flying all around me. My husband found this amusing and endearing and used to call me his baby bluebird. When he died, I got a tattoo of two bluebirds on my arm and his initials. One day this composition played randomly in my Alexa piano playlist. But I was always so captivated by the music that I forgot to ask the name of the song and the musician every single time! The song always made me feel like I was in the mountains again with my husband in that campsite, one of my favorite memories with him. Then one day, when it randomly played again, I made sure I asked the name. And it was called Bluebird

This song is pure emotions to me. I was pregnant of my first little boy and I played that song when he was still in the womb. Unfortunately, pregnancy stopped at 6 months. We played that song at his funeral. Still today, listening to this song reminds me of the joy I felt carrying him and having him in my life. Forever. ❤

Simultaneously breaking weeping and liberating
Recently lost our beautiful, big teddy bear dog (Rottweiler) to cancer recently. Her last 48 hours was spent doing her favorite things, including listening to classical music. This song came on just before we took her on her last ride to the vet. I remember it coming on and it just summing up her life so beautifully. I still get so very sad, but also very happy every time I hear this.

My daughter sent me this Bluebird, because my sister said she would return and visit us as the Bluebird of happiness. This song has all the hope and longing I feel for my sister. She transcended to the vibration of light, after a ferocious battle with breast cancer 🎀. Never have I ever knew anyone as strong...trying every trial to see if one would give her a chance for more time. I will keep my eyes looking for the Bluebird of happiness, and my soul coming back here listening to this incredible song. 💗

beautiful timelapse about a blue bird building a nest on Lex Friedman podcast. I mentioned it to my wife (who loves birds). My mother in law was nearby, and she recalled me the story "Bluebird" by Maeterlinck. I immediately tried to remember the full story and a Google search helped me to find this wonderful song ❤
