Fun fact: the choreography for the opening credits was done by Charissa Barton. She wanted a dance sequence that was awkward and for non-dancers. She consulted her husband for a lot of the moves, her husband is the legendary Alan Tudyk.

Don't forget when he's drunk listening to house of pain and dwelling on his trauma involving his brother and Rick Flag. I thought that was the most touching/sad part. Actually no I was the most upset when Eagle E was injured for all of like 2 minutes lol

Saddest part for me is when peacemaker say that ads is his best friend. Poor vigilante almost dies so many times for him.
This was the most pleasant surprise I had in years. Never expected anything from this series and I ended loving each minute of it. Also the intro is pure GOLD

I love the fact that in the show Peacemaker genuinely feels bad that he had to kill Rick Flag in The Suicide Squad showing the he's not completely heartless unlike a certain government official

I think it triggered the whole Peacemaker series because it REALLY reminded him of killing his own brother.
His habit of justifying his actions because of his beliefs cracked right there and then. It just ended up being a facade and he was finally able to blame his father for Keith's death, but it still eats at him that it was his decision as an adult to kill Rick Flag, even with Amanda Waller's instructions.
Rick Flag was a top tier character. Even tho in this universe he only got screen time in the movie.

This series was amazing and I can't wait for season two. This series convinced me that James Gunn DESPERATELY needs to make a Deadpool movie.
They still haven't hired a director for the new Deadpool film (WHICH IS GONNA BE R-RATED) and he only said he's done with Guardians after Vol. 3, not Marvel.

It means that They don't have to have their identities hidden to be super heroes like clar/superman, bruce/batman or Barry/flash.

tbh, I think 2nd season will ruin it. Its a problem of our generation that we always want more. Just look at what happened to star wars, jurassic park, terminator..... I think 1 season is just enough, we shall cherish and remember it fondly without 2nd or 3rd season absolutely ruining it.

I don't think so. He works best playing off others but he certainly should get a couple vigilante centric episodes in season 2.

well professional wrestling is acting at the end of the day, so he had plenty of practice
The Peacemaker intro is the greatest intro of all time! It's flawlessly choreographed! It's hard to beat. I've noticed a few gestures that could be hidden messages about the series, such as the middle finger, everyone nodding just before Peacemaker took his shot, and everyone jerking their hands when Eagly squeals.
I really love this series! All the actors have such great chemistry. You need that for a series like this.
I'm also happy Eagly is okay. If anything happens to that bird...we're gonna have a problem. 😆
As bad as Peacemaker's trauma was with his dad, brother, Flag, etc. I felt ten times worse when Eagle E was injured for all of like 2 minutes lol that bird is a national treasure, literally.

John Cena hit both the comedic and dramatic notes perfectly! Absolutely loved his performance 👏🏻👏🏻

I've seen a lot of great shows fumble up their finales. But goodness gracious peacemaker isn't one of those shows. Peacemakers season 1 ending was literally the most satisfying ending in all the series/movies I have watched

Peacemaker and Vigilante are my favorite characters in this season.
Their team up in this season was awesome,hilarious,touching and fun.
Can't wait to see what happens next in Season 2.
The scene with the briefing in the van and Adebayo swiping too far and Peacemaker and Vigilante's reaction was hilarious

He had more freedom on DC than Marvel because A) They don't have to fight in a family-friendly image (througth the fact that Deadpool 3 will be both in the MCU and R-rated that part could change) and B) They have a looser plan than Marvel (that won't even start until The Flash and is only known to affect Batgirl).

I admit I never had much expectations about John Cena's acting skills, but this show (and the previous movie) definitely proved me wrong, he's one hell of an actor with the right script and the right director
I absolutly agree. I've seen him in 2-3 small roles but he really has a wide acting range. I was seriously impressed.
John Cena acting skills are better than Dwayne Johnson, imo. He's even can play in a romcom.
@@nekofreaks I don't think Cena is better than The Rock though, Johnson is as good as him but in the last 15 years he has always been cast in roles where his body is an active part of his character or in comedic roles where he can show how fucking big his smile can be.
I recall just one movie, San Andreas, where he acted in a more dramatic tone and I think he was brilliant in it, given his previous movies.
And don't forget Moana, voice acting is not the same as acting on camera, you have to convey your emotion only with your voice and it's not as simple as it seems.
As much as John Cena proved it, I'm sure Johnson could give a very good performance with a script and a director that is willing to take the challenge.
It's not the script. The Suicide Squad script gave him nothing and he made that part.

Vigilante is my favorite character
The funniest thing to me is that it’s only after Vigilante stops making the faces that Peacemaker recognises him - so they worked!!
I really had no idea what I was in for when I started watching Peacemaker, but now when the first season is finished I'm so glad that I did. Such a pleasant surprise, really loved this one... the action and violence, humor and awesome glam metal soundtrack is a perfect fit together.

I loved the whole series, but to me, the most hilarious part is the intro. The music, the choreography, the straight faces, Eagly correcting his mark - pure genius!
James Gunn does a much better job without Disney holding him back

from what i've seen, the show is absolutely hilarious AND has an awesome soundtrack!
Since it was confirmed Peacemaker is getting a season 2, I kinda want them to follow through with the possible Fatherhood nugget. It would be a good subplot and character development to see someone like Chris handle that type of responsibility.

I went into watching Peacemaker with my son thinking that I’d bare the stupidity for him. Fantastic part is that I ended up loving it and laughing my ass off every Thursday without fail. I can’t wait for season 2, I’m hooked.☮️🦅
Dye beard was low key funny as fuck man. The way they had you change your mind about him after he saves the day twice only for him to trip over that fence and severely break his leg later on had me dying lol

Such a great show, I watched every episode when I first got to Korea and it made my quarantine so much better.

and so many more great moments that actually I am surprised did not make it to this channels list.
You missed the moment from ep 2 where Vigilante asks whether Peacemaker works in Post Office when he says he works for Government, this scene left me bursting into tears.
The extended Locke scenes 😂😂😂🙌🏽 both times had me in stitches.. also those douches making fun of Judomaster 🙌🏽😂😂😂

I think number one should've been when the Vigilante and Economos are looking for the Peacemaker's helmet in the bushes (last episode), its one of the funniest dialogue ever...
Cena's acting just blew my mind, too early to talk on his versatility but it looked like he was born to play peacemaker!!! He is already so far ahead of Dwayne Johnson in terms of acting and hell even screen presence. More of actor Cena!!!

Disappointed there wasn't even honorable mention love for the "Apple Dumpling Gang" scene in "The Choad Less Traveled." Murn's exasperated "Every time I turn around one of you is doing something F***ED UP!" is one of my favorite lines, and then Economos feeling the need to clarify they're talking about Vigilante, not Eagly.

Justice League at the end of episode 8 is so awesome and unexpected
missed the scene when Vigilante kills the Giff family and humming while doin it.

I think the true meaning behind this show is that all people, gay, straight, black, white, asian, etc. deserve to live. Despite any differences of opinion or culture, all human life deserves to stay alive whether it negatively impacts the world or not, and that is the true meaning of peace.
I also love how in these final moments of the show, Peacemaker makes peace with Adebayo, Economos, Harcourt, Vigilante, Goff, his father, and most importantly, himself. He has finally found peace. This show was a true work of art and I’d love to see more of it.
It's a crime you didn't even included in a honorable mention the scene where Vigilante gets arrested to try to pick a fight with Peacemaker dad White Dragon and his neo nazi thugs, the dialogue in that scene makes anyone love Vigilante.

The dye beard conclusion where Economos has to admit it. Super heartfelt but hilarious in its absurdity and how serious it was.
As well as the Justice League showing up. It had me fall out of my chair with shock and laughter.
I had no desire to actually watch this show so I did like the Suicide Squad movie but I actually really enjoyed the show and it was definitely entertaining and that intro always gets me everytime

How could the Prison scene with Vigilante not be in the Top Ten, much less #1. I was laughing so hard I was crying.
I've just binged watched all 8 episodes and found it to be an absolute joy from beginning to end. This is the best 'genre' series i've seen in the past couple of years (including my previous favourite of The Mandolorian). Roll on series 2!
There can never be TOP 10. I never seen a show I couldn't stop laughing every five minutes from opening to final episode.

Eagly hugging Peacemaker in the Hospital was the best moment in the show
4:25 this is both adorable and heart breaking because I had a cat that brought me mice for lunch like she would do for her kittens.
It is good to see that there was heart and a lot of love in making the series, many youtubers taking data from different sources, do not give this work an acceptable success, but the reality was more present in multiple countries where it achieved acceptance and appreciation, Peacemaker gave himself to know more than even other heroes with his series in competition (like Hawkeye with Kate bishop), the reality I hope to see 2 more seasons and appearances of Jhon Cena with his amoral character who had a lot to give than other characters to the antihero with violence but without substance, Peacemaker had it and more with playing with the philosophy of the character, other similar ones (as the Punisher had many times) did not even empathize, they were only showing them dark but without background, Peacemaker achieves it and I want to see him in movies and series, what The real thing is that he earned a place in many hearts and the helmeted vigilante came to stay (while others did not even achieve that)
