My personal syllabus 1) Freecode camp and each 300 hours is $30. 2) TheOdinproject completing all the paths. 3)codemy and other pay to learn sites. Im creating a payscale to reward myself. Im doing this for web dev on platforms, pentesting, and robotics(as a hobby). I plan on building a web page as a resume that's interactive and multi-layered. Im already starting the site as im moving through the css course on FCC. I have saved tutorial for building various robotic projects and hack this site is going to be a playground once im at that level of python and other languages.

I’ve actually got an engineering degree and I switched to working as a software engineer and now I’m trying to decide if this is the kind of work I want to specialize in, or if I’d rather try out front end, data science, or even go back to more of an electrical engineering oriented job. To those self-learning, just know that you’re not the only ones figuring it out as you go. Also, this channel seems like a solid resource, so it’s good you found this creator!

Great choice I went frontend --> fullstack --> frontend. JS is a great starting place. If you're SUPER aggressive in your learning you could do it in 4-5 months. But realistically you're looking at 7-12 months to land your first job
Is that working full time? I'm trying to study in the evenings after working a physical job and being a single mum. I think I'm going to be ancient by the time I know enough to apply for a job! 🤣
