0009 - Compass Switch module - Part 3: Integrating in to the Microscope assembly and power up

One of the most useful creations for improving my repair video recordings has been the compass based automatic scene switcher that sits on the microscope boom arm. Recently it has also been used to control the power of the microscope ring light using another USB based tool ( PowerSwitch ).
The last few days I've been attempting to integrate their functionality so that I only need 1 USB port to have both functions and further have the in/out threshold point set on the board itself ( rather than relying on the software in the PC ).

Put some red shrink-wrap on your dongle with a 100mm tail. Then its completely obvious that its in the device the point where you wont be able to pack it without seeing it.
