Shame they didn't get the support they deserved. I saw them supporting AC/DC when they were promoting their debut album. Very impressive live.

Unfortunately people were focusing more on Ian Hunter than John Fiddler and Hunter's former band - shame really, as the Lions DID carry on the Mott Tradition 100 percent and Fiddler was many times just as good as Hunter was.
