Yeah I feel ya, every year everyone gets better and listening back on these eliminations, I don't feel as impressed as I was back then. However, there's one exception to this for me which is Codfish. Somehow he still amazes me with his 2018 battles.

@@vedantgupta2145 idk maybe it's just me but his style feels so unique to me. It's prolly a bit bias since he got me hooked when I first got into bbx.
i understand if you feel nostalgia, its nice to hear to cuz its mostly melodies which fit into the head very easily. Its just that whenever i hear it i am able to reproduce the sounds very easily which makes me underappreciate it alot @@danikazeytv

I remember trung bao got surgery after this he was out of the beatbox scene recovering for awhile, he had nasal surgery or something that's why his venom routine didn't come through how he wanted it to, he couldn't do his inward bass and that lost the energy of the crowd and threw the judges off at the last 30-40 seconds of his elimination round
Heey! You have to keep in mind that this is the year were a lot of technical issues were a thing. The recordings nowadays are way better quality.
Furthermore, the contestants had an issue with the timer not actually being accurate. So people, for example Elisii, who prepared a perfectly timed round - had to suddenly improvise the last 30-60seconds.
To my knowledge this also happened to Trung, that's why he put out the Venom track at the end.
Elisii didn't have a prepared round, chezame said he had a rough idea what he wants to do but would freestyle it on stage

Show-gos elimination might not be the most hyping but the amount of skill expression is just straight up through the roof. The way he creates dynamics, the fact that every f*ckn sound is like a sample, the power, the sound control, the skillset, the structure...imo this was a crazy performance!

alot of people dont know trung bao had complications with his nose and breathing and he had surgery for it but its still not the best and he is stil a insane beatboxer
The only 2021 solo elim I still get impressed by is Elisii's. Fucking legendary.

Trung Bao designs every stage for GBB, remember he hade health issues at 2019 , thats why he had breath problems

This was the year before trung bao got a nostril surgery. I believed he commented that he had an medical issue that effected his beatbox.
Trung Bao was sick or after surgery smth like that... His voice wasn't 100% recovered
also the air feels heavy caused so many people and body heat in a closed area and theres hella aspects to it like nervousness but trung bao does got battle experience so idk haha..
trung got out of breath coz he needed nose surgery. he couldnt breath through his right nostral I believe
