- At the end of our last episode we landed at a place we called buckle beach. This week we set off on the same river looking for some new spots knowing we had buckle beach in our back pocket. After finding a few random things in our exploration. We went back to "Buckle Beach" and this place is LOADED with signals. We found a wide variety of old coins and relics. We also found a ton of buckles. This place lived up to its name!

The wonderful dedication you, Kurt , have for the Hoover Boys channel is what I love most! I know that if all the others don’t show up, YOU WILL STILL BE THERE…and seems like Muck too! Yay Muck…Yay Kurt! Thanks for another fun video !
Thank you Lisa! We appreciate you
Sat with an ice cold beer after a 150 mile drive. Watching this is a great way of unwinding, thanks for what you do.
Thank goodness! Hope you had a fun vacation, glad you're back!
Thank God for the hoover boy to start the day with thank you guys for the great times over the years and keep on digging
Thanks for another great episode! Bring Bobby back! Thanks....
Great hunt! That many buckles and buttons makes me think maybe a battle took place there and it was a resting place for many souls.
On Muck's Classic Liberty coin I saw the "Liberty" head band. All your good finds are exciting to see. Thanks for taking us along.
Yup. I saw it when I was editing. Didn't see it on the river
Awesome video Kurt and Muck. Really like the cool finds, coin's buttons and especially the buckle's.
At 22:40 the item you refer to as a fancy little thing a majig looks like a Chatelaine. The top part that looks like a buckle, went through a women's waist belt. The chains would hold items like keys, sewing notions, mechanical pencils, etc.
Love the WWII button you found! Happy you all went back to buckle beach! Love to watch, keep on finding history!! GODS BLESSINGS!!
14:29 lols 😂 dam those hem weights .
Button “Buckle Beach” really paid out. Great hunt like always… congratulations
I love the old clock key!!!!
Awesome hunt! Looks like you should rename that site buckle and button beach! I wonder what that place was years ago? Thanks for bringing us along Kurt! Take care and God Bless!
Love buckle beach! Go back! Stat healthy guys!
Knee buckles sound painful.I guess they weren’t in style for very long.Adds new meaning to don’t get your knickers in a twist..lol.
Wow, you guys found a lot of buttons and buckles. Makes me wonder if people went swimming there?
Thanks for sharing your adventure. 😀 I'm almost caught up with all your videos here.
Oooo you found a chatelaine!
Some housekeeper or housewife lost that pretty dangly bit back at the turn.
Lot of nice finds thanks 👍😊 Kurt and muck see you next week good lord willing and the creek don't rise.
Another fun day in the water! Your little T key reminds me of a mantle clock key..:my grandparents had one that wound up…just a thought. Thank you for the video as always!
Killer day for both of you guys....Your videos are never disappointing....Nice job👍
Thanks for the video!!! I always like watching you guys find amazing treasures metal detecting! Thanks for the great content! Have fun detecting!

Always enjoy your videos! Always informative and good hearted, enjoy the history and great finds.
Awesome work guys. Keep up the amazing content!!
Hooray Wednesday! Buckle beach comes in clutch!
Love all the buckles and the key. Great job guys.
Good old finds, great show.
Great day in the water!!
It makes me wonder if the place your finding all the buttons and buckles could be a local watering hole where women way back then once washed their families clothes!
As a teenager me and my friends searched the beach and along side tree stumps in Lake Livingston which is a fresh water lake in Texas for Indian arrowheads, etc. Whereas, we didn’t have the fancy detectors and things as we used hands to dig in the shallows near the bank and in many cases holding our breaths and dived in deeper water often next to old tree stumps or steep banks with deep water using our hands to feel and pull up whatever rocks, etc. we could!
Nonetheless, this might interest you as one day I was digging in deeper water along side a very large old tree stump located in approximately 8 foot deep water near the point of our freshwater beach area, when I pulled up something big and covered with thick red clay as I expected it to be nothing as I proceeded to wipe off enough of the thick red clay and realized I had found something very special to certain people, as I soon determined it to be an Indian made axe that still had about 1/4th to 1/3rd of the wood handle that was still firmly holding the beautifully handcrafted axe with what we believed to be very durable leather from the hide of a bear or buffalo, etc.
I always enjoyed the search and finding of various new and old things particularly gold jewelry and Indian artifacts. I showed the item to several people including my dad who didn’t seem very impressed, however a good friend of his who was elderly and owned the campgrounds we lived during the summers was thrilled to see what I found and once I seen his reaction I couldn’t help but give it to him being someone who would appreciate it verses running down to see how much it’s value was!
It’s been more than 40 years since then and I haven’t ever seen anything like it since, so I suppose it was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I still feel I did the right thing with because it really brightened the eyes of a good, honest, and hardworking old fella who always seemed to think and take care of others first!
Good luck and keep up the great videos!
So I guess it's official, Brad has taken the entire summer off! Don't let him complain when he comes back in the cold weather lol
Wheres there rest of the boys been ? 1942 , billy , brad and the rest
@@derekgraziano9499 idk I guess Brad is back next episode
@@The14lbBaby ahh ok thanks for letting me know I miss the old days with all the guys together..

That "T" piece is the handle to a cupboard door. The house I grew up in had lots of them. I got them all before they tore it down.
Love the water hunts !! Will be great to see B rad and Bottle Bill again 🙂👵❤👍
Ooohhh there’s those patriotic shorts again! Love em! Good hunting guys!
Nice looking board this week
Welcome back from your vacation. Now get. Back to having fun.
I really like that tube tub. I like it so much I picked one up from the Kellyco showroom the other day. Probably will put it to use tomorrow.
6:30 crossed rifles?? cavalry? cmon Kurt! LOL...thanx..always looking forward to your video
Fun stuff! Cool finds
I'd go with, keyhole
I'm stuck at home with covid. At least I have your video to watch! Nice collection of artifacts guys! Love the colonial buckles! Wish I could get out and do some detecting.
That was a great hunt.
neat spot. some cool old finds. My favourite is that ww1 collar stud. So cool. I found a few old rod iron items from an 1850s logging camp while poking around a bit with the detectors in quebec and ontario. Unfotunately didn't get onto the best ground till I was out of time. Hope to get a chance to check some older parks along the railway around home here soon and try some old fur trading sites. Starting to run out of targets in my usual home field. Ha ha.
Found some amazing buttons. Love that clock key though, have one that goes to a clock that sits on the mantle, someone sprung the spring by winding too much. That's okay still beautiful. Congrats on all your finds. Happy digging and eat your lunch
I can’t wait for part two!
Awesome hunt guys!
Nice assortment of finds Congrats Guys. 👊
Big relic day, for sure. All those buckles. Must have been some sort of boat overturned there with buttons and buckles. Who knows? Great job, thanks!
"damn hem weights" comment har me rollin!! No lie
Kurt,
You should consider having a few viewers come on a few hunts. You could have a raffle or something.....
I’d be game, even from Iowa.
Definitely agree.
Awesome finds guys.
Great video gents! Also mark because of the coin you wear it caused me to make a pendant out of my first silver which was a merc.
ALWAYS continue to impress us with your metal detecting nose to sniff out those spots! nice finds, 9:54 I swear I could see a tiny ring around the inside of the coin/button, so maybe it was a button? Swear you could almost see lettering around the edges as well.
Found it... Pretty sure I lost some subscriptions when I changed phones in March... I'm back subscribed.💪🍻
Thanks John!
Not many details left after rolling around in the rock tumbler for a couple hundred years. Great finds, fellas.
Nice finds guys Sounds like the spot I’m in over 40 silver coins 6 halves back to 1847! Lots of fun!!!
I didn't know where that phrase came from "bcz all holes matter" Billy? Been following you for years and never knew that little piece of history. Bunch of nice finds guys. And staying cool in the water. Win Win.
There should be a lot of good hunts left in that spot!
Possibly a tailors site along the water? Or a bare knuckle fighting pit as there seem to be so many buttons and buckles!
Nice METAL fork Muck! 🤘🏼
I need a day like that!
Awesome finds
Nice finds
Insanity at its finest 👌
"He'll yeah that's awesome"🤓
We need the 3 B's, Bob, Bill and Brad!!
Cool beans brothers. 😎
Equinox in the water got the headphones cool
That was the winder to your previous alarm clock piece.
That " Golden Copper" ?? Looks goldish from my lazy boy chair in Vermont USA 🇺🇸 brother!!??
COOL name, I like it. "BUCKLE BEACH"
Liked it!
Alarm clocks.... So many, Common find. Family has but ONE time piece, No watches no electric clocks at home. Clock goes with you when you go out for the day, Back home at night. When I started detecting (1980) I had to figure out each item not knowing (No computers) thru the years certain items would become common finds. "Back when" People only had so many metal items. "Hem weights", "Church keys" "Snap purses"
“Damn hem weights!” 😂😂😂
Make you wonder why so many buckles and buttons. What was going on in that spot.
You need to do a video on how you built your scoup I know its not just Pvc. Thanks for the videos makes my week
9:45 I saw a wheat stalk leading me to think it is a crusted wheelie
1:40 - That’s what she said! 🤣😅😂
That copper, before you rubbed it, looked like Britannia
I saw that too
@@rc-yi8ry good, I’m not crazy then. Unless we both are crazy 😂
gday from oz,i wonder if you have come across a landing dock, buttons and buckles lost when carrying wooden boxs or maybe sacks, catching on clothing when unloading, some good stuff.
The WW1 button you found... I found 1 TOTALLY preserved.. STILL has blue on it. Just learning what I had found...wow..... I found 1 with ALMOST full color on it... Why? I'm in Ohio.. it looked so new I thought it was NOTHING... Wow
Hellooooooooo Captain Kurt!!!!!!!
Look at these Swashbuckling Pirates-ooops Orioles fans. Great spot brothers!!!! Beep on!
another goodun boys !
Keep up the good work boys 👍 my family rolls their eyes when I put you on the TV. But I don't care. They don't have the bug like I do. LoL. When can I go with you??
The VERY VERY Best part of Retirement is....NO ALARM CLOCK!!! WOO HOO
I hate alarm clocks too!
Great vid…. Always nice too se THB in action…..thaw one thing for me you can turn off the sound on the pinponter special in water hunt and only use vibrator on…the piiiiiip sure dont let me sleep to your calm voice 😅…..
New video yes!!!
Awesome video guys. I need to get me one of those floaty things you have. New sub from me 👍
I know it's not your thing, but I'd be interested in seeing y'all pan a little of that black sand. sometimes there's gold in that kind of stuff even offshore.
I think it should be renamed Buckle/Button Beach or 3B! 😂😂
What's for lunch?
Hot pockets on Buckle Beach.
Eat your lunch 😄
Have you every been to Hale Farm and Village in Bath,Ohio 1800 Town. It's still a work town.Nice place
Good evening to all
Wonderful videos ! Surly a great spot. I have a theory on why you are finding the amount of buckles and buttons you are getting. You said there was an old house next to this spot. It is common for people back in the day to bury family next to the house they lived in and or close to the water for the view. With water erosion they may have washed out over the years Not trying to be macabre but there are lots of buckles and buttons in their clothes from that period. Also may explain the large cents . They were placed on the deceased eyes to pay the ferryman passage to the other side. This could also explain the extra corrosion of the items. I still would hunt on !!
Or, people swam with clothes on back in those days. Not a modern bathing suit, but some type of swimming outfit that most certainly would have had buckles and buttons
Hello Hoover boys
Good morning from Shreveport Louisiana... I survived the C19 and God is good. Find something cool for me to drool 🤤 over. Thank you Hoover Boys for awesome content.
that copper looks like it might have been counterstamped
What a great hunt! Sounds like there was a clothing factory near that site. Is it possible?
Just curious about using the newest iPhone that has LiDAR to photograph those coins to see if it can bring out any details.
That would be cool!
I might be getting my first metal detector and I will probably metal detect in my backyard
